WhiteKnight Build - (Smallfry's rebuild)

Something isn't right with that. Were you low on coolant? Check underneath for a small coolant leak. My last engine ran at 224 once because I was way down on coolant, which I later found out was due to a faulty head gasket.

Nope coolant levels are fine and no leaks. I'm thinking I have a bad thermostat.
 
My 4runner picked up a new stable mate tonight. Not sure on the plans yet for the new one or if I'll keep or sell the whiteknight.

Nice pick up. Glad to see you stayed in the 4Runner family. I really like what you did with your 3rd gen. Any details on the new one?

I think I'd probably pass, unless it was just a total steal. I decided a while back if I were to shell out the coin I'd probably get with the guys @ RTI and turbo charge it.

I plan to swap in an FJ-80 axle before either though.
 
The 4runner and the supercharger will be up for sale in the next week or so if anyone is interested.

Gotta have one final trail run with her. :pout::Cry::lookout:

Even though my old 3rd gen has been gone for a few months I still find myself looking at 3rd gens on craigslist. Go figure.

How does the 5th gen ride compared to the 3rd gen? Smoother? Rougher? Quieter? Never been in a 5th gen. I do like the trail Editions. The limiteds and SR5s just look odd though. But the Trail shares a similar profile to the 3rd gen, at least looking from the side
