Who says you can't fit 34's!?

Can you tell us more about your setup? Namely suspension, control arms, and caster setting. I'm also curious. I haven't had any of those issues with 34's. I'm not racing competitively, but I've pushed it fairly hard and haven't found any issues with rubbing or contact in the front (outside of the normal mud flap and BMC that were necessary to fit).

My setup is stock LCA (with KDSS), stock bump stops, stock wheels sometimes with 1" spacers, sometimes without, Fox 2.5" front coilovers, and JBA UCAs. I set my caster pretty high - around 4.5 - and I'm set at around 2" lift height, but I've gone everywhere from 1-3" height over the years.

I do actually get some minor rub on the inner fender liner in the rear in the whoops at speed if I push it. But nothing up front.

Longv, What suspension and lift were you running when your 34 slammed up inside the the wheel well and created the dent? What extended bump stops are you going to put on?

At the time dobsinsons 2.5fr 2rear, dirt king upper arms. Ripped out both fender liners, pushed back and bowed out the fenders by the bottom near the door. Bent spindles and/or lower control arms

The Dirt King LCA's seem to be the big difference I see. It seems likely to be the case that the LCAs do not share the same relationship with up travel and bump stop contact so they would allow more up travel before contacting the bump stops.

34s without extended bumpstops will result in this offroading. Red circled part is suppose to be flat. Pinch welds need to be hammered flush also

I have extended bump stops; Toytec in the rear and Energy Suspensions in the front.

I added these to avoid damaging my shocks and struts.

I did, however, do a little off roading and fully compressed the suspension a couple times before replacing the bump stops and did not have any issues in that area. I did catch the inner liner one time, but far from ripping it out.

Thanks for sharing the info. I have King/Icon 2in rear lift in the back running 295/70/17 Cooper MTs with the -38 offset. When rear wheels are tucked, they are rubbing against the rear doors. My next step was to get the wheelers offroad superbumps. Did you add 1/4" or 3/8" washer? Hoping this will help with the rubbing.
