Whoops, stripped screw holding MAF sensor.

I'm in the middle of cleaning my TB and MAF sensor and accidentally stripped the head on one of the screws holding the MAF sensor...it was corroded badly.

1) Can I just leave the MAF sensor connected to the airbox and still clean it?

2) Once I get it out will I be able to get a replacement from the Toyota dealer?

I believe that they are 4mm (double check that though - the size is in my build thread) - take your good one down to lowes or Home Depot - I replaced mine with hex screws so I won't have this problem in the future.

i did the same thing when i first bought mine. i havent replaced them yet, whenever i need to clean the MAF i just remove the whole airbox and if you have done the deckplate you can get to both sides of it with MAF cleaner.

I just did this today too! haha I'll be watching to see what you end up doing. I couldn't even get the stripped screw out so I went on cleaning the Throttle Body and called it a day.
