Who's interested in an auxiliary fuel tank?

LRA Tanks
We continue to import and sell LRA tanks as exclusive agent in North America.
We have the GC 470 (and hopefully 4Gen 4Runner) tank shipping from Melbourne next week. Also working on aux tank for 100 Series and GX 460 (and 5Gen 4Runner). Taking orders for GX 470s. Will confirm 4G 4Runner fitment in early June.
Our 200 Series aux tanks work well with US emission systems, as to aux tanks for FJ Cruisers, 80 Series, etc. Also have tanks for 40, 55, 60 and 70 Series as well as Tacomas and Tundras.
We order for stock and customer requests every two weeks and ship to Stockton, CA by air. Typical month is around 40 tanks arriving and most are sold by the time they get here.

Whole lot cheaper, proven technology, CARB legal. Just sayin.
Can be stolen, less convenient to refill, can save my Jerry cans gas for my RZR, I dont want 5 rotopax mounted all over my suv when I can have a ~20g tank where my spare used to be. Just saying.

Rotopax makes locking mounts. But really if they want the gas...all the need to do is unscrew the lid and drain it or worse yet, poke a hole in it.

What kind of instructions are available for these units? Any youtube install videos? $1.7K is gonna suck as it is. I'd rather not add insult to injury and have to pay someone to turn a wrench when I do most of my work myself.

I'm see CA kept on its mission to thwart any advancement of ICE (internal combustion engines) in any way shape or form....
I bet if you installed a 200# battery and added a motor they'd be more than happy to bless it for registration.

Well between that, the ridiculous cost and zero support for DIY installs, yeah I think this died before it left the womb.
I'd still love to have one on my 5th gen, and I've installed them before (1st gen), but damn this option was too much.

Here's a current link where it looks like you can order a tank, longrangeamerica.com. But damn at $2100+ I bet they don't sell many.
