Trails In Washington State

I have seen quite a few trails in washington state including one this weekend at a more rural dealer. They are out there.

FYI, LA got a small shipment of them or one? So I guess these are just coming out really slowly. I take delivery of it in the next few days! woot!
I've been waiting since October! But hopefully they will start shipping them out.

It's interesting to hear how different regions get and sell the various models. I'm in Ontario and just bought a 2011 Limited. The dealer had trouble finding one in blizzard pearl, and I never did find a Limited to test drive. However, there were lots of Trail Editions around.

This is what I am doing, although they don't seem at all interested in finding me one without Nav but with KDSS. I guess they don't need the money - or it's just good 'ol Southern Service. Kind of like East Germany.

If is any consolation, it is the same problem in the mid-east. I'd spring for nav if it had a hard drive. I did see one in NC with KDSS and no nav. Bit of a hike, and until April no time anyway.

almost bought a Black Trail last week in SF, it had Nav which brought the price up to 41000, beautiful car/truck with the scoup and side rails... but it had one of those moving platform rear areas instead of third row bench seat, the second row seats are different and won't flatten out into a bed like the sr5 i was renting so i didn't get it. I likes to car camp.

don't be afraid to get on a plane and to go get the car you really want... especially this time of year when air travel is cheap, just make sure they hold it for you so your trip isn't for naught.

Third row seats are not available on a TE. The platform is the only option.

Yeah, there is a slight ramp at the pivot point on my non-3rd-row/non-tray SR5. I'd think you'd have a flat load floor with the tray equipped models. I know that is the case with the 3rd row models, but the raised floor wasn't something I wanted.

If you remove the cargo divider that flips up and down. It's only 4 bolt's and it comes out real easy, the seats fold flat. I had mine out for about 8mo. I put it back in for the winter. I used it last year as a bed
