I usedMine has a yellow tint to it. I used the superbright 6000k. Same LED's I used for everything else that's white
I still need help
I did NOT use LEDs. Why does the climate control now work but surrounding buttons don't? I replied the 4 bulbs, is 2 specifically for the surrounding buttons and maybe those are defective? Anyone know?
Props for the WRITE UP!
Did the blue LED upgrade, and this was good to read and refresh on what to do...
Just an FYI for all the future endeavors, I just finished this project on my 2000 Limited and the #74 bulb fit in place of the "required" #24. I spent quite some time comparing website dimensions and measuring bulbs over and over with a caliper, and it worked (in my case).
OP- don't know if its worth editing the original post (doesn't seem like anyone reads it anyway ha) but it may help some in their quest for 74vs24 answers.
ALL of my lights were ordered through VLEDS.com
Did you put the #74 bulb INSIDE the #24 socket or did you just replace the #24 socket completely? My #24 sockets are burned out and falling apart. Out of the 3 sockets, only the right one lights up.

Turned out real good
Also this light doesn’t light up. Can it be changed or am I incorrect?
