New member and traded in my FJ for a 4Runner in September. I'm not able to start my own thread yet but I have a question that I think is relevant to the post.
I installed a set of the Extreme LEDs form XenonDepot and I've been have issues with water/condensation on the inside of the light housing. The grommet that covers the hole gets pushed back a little....I think because the heat sink bands are just too big for the housing. I've reinstalled them a couple of times but no luck....I was wondering if anyone else has installed LEDs as their low beams and has seen this too?

Just installed the H11 HID kit 5K and the H16 Philips yellow LED fog lights from Xenon depot. Ordering was straight forward and easy, received the lights within 2 days and install was easy. I love my set up and the light output turned out great. Thanks Xenon depot !!!!

Welcome to the club. I started a thread about this a while back, but my issue was happening with the HIDs. Never was able to find a solution, other than take out the bulbs and throw back in some halogens...
I am going to change the LED's that I currently have to HID, I was hoping this would allow the grommet to seal the dust cap better.
If the HIDs still allow condensation then I will replace the dust caps with new ones and install the halogens again.....if they are still leaking then Toyota will replace the headlights....

The dust cap has nothing to do with moisture. You might try using the grommet from your original halogen bulbs on the XD bulbs, if they'll fit. Its worth a shot.

I would like to contribute to this thread from a durability/longevity standpoint..
I bought the XD HID kit back over 7 months ago and I will contest that I have had zero problems and cant be happier. I've tinkered with multiple HID kits in various cars and the death of every one of them for me has always been longevity..which im usually very hesitante to add 2cents until ive had them for ahwile. I see folks with poor grommet sealing with moisture issues or bad relay flickering but with an unbiased review, Hands down this HID kit coupled with phillips bulbs and no-brianer instructions/t4r member write up is a win..
