Actually, already have one from when I did it. Notice how the rear fender molding sort of overhangs (If you have a Limited). Doesn't bother me one bit...

I compared the limited vs non-limited rear door flare and you can see it sits differently. I think I need to order these too so my end caps will fit correctly.

That would definitely look more "correct". If I ever get body damage requiring painting, I'l probably do that same thing and get them painted at the same time. Its doesn't bother me, so dont want to spend the money for the parts plus paint work..

I’ve trying to find the correct part number for the non-limited rear door flares #7. When I look up the limited and non-limited, the part numbers come up the same. the links above are active. i think, the black ones are for non-limited and there are the ones i need

I’ve trying to find the correct part number for the non-limited rear door flares #7. When I look up the limited and non-limited, the part numbers come up the same. the links above are active. i think, the black ones are for non-limited and there are the ones i need

Finished the "Trail" rocker conversion on my 2011 SR5
Mud flaps finally arrived.
I got a lot more rocker clearance.
I was going to order sliders but I'm holding off for now till I can justify there usefulness.
The one thing I did notice was a lot more tire noise coming in through the lower door jams.
I think the original SR5 rockers panels diverted air flow and suppressed some of this noise.
Last year I installed a Dobinson Mild Lift, Now with the smaller Rocker panels the truck appears to sit a little higher.

2nd time I've bumped into you today. Apparently I am trying to accomplish the same trim mods as you. Did you ever get these rear flares installed?

What bothers me about this look on the early 5th gen body is the way the front and rear fascias don’t align now with the side profile. It looks off to me and was part of the reason I trimmed my side skirts instead of remove them.
Plus those little end caps are expensive!

Seems like a lot of the pics in this thread are gone, so I will attach some more. I finally did this install and converted my OG rocker panels (I had already cut these up a lot to make my sliders fit). The new black plastic rocker panels fit easily and perfectly by the front caps need to be trimmed just a hair to fit correctly.
The parts I used are:
75806-35100
75805-35130 (2014+ rocker panels)
75857-35010
75858-35010 (2010-2013 front rocker caps)
These front rocker caps need to be trimmed just a bit to fit. The one on the left is not yet trimmed. You can see how little needs to come off:
Keep in mind that you can’t see that any trimming has been done once you install the rocker caps. Here are the parts that I cut off each side:

I need some shorter rear springs!

Hey your solution to the Rockers looks great what did you use to Trim the Rockers with and did you do it while they were on the vehicle or off? Just worried I will not cut straight so want to find out what you did to keep a straight edge? Also curious how you measured to figure out how much to cut off? Was there a metal edge or is is all plastic, just wondering for rust protection. I really dont want to spend the money for the Trail replacements way too expensive.

Thanks. It really turned out great.
I basically held the step up and got an idea of how much I’d need to cut. I can measure mine now to give you an idea of how much I cut off.
I simply used a tape measure and marked the side skirts all the way down their length with a sharpie every foot or so.
I then taped along that line with painters tape.
I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel to cut long the line. It’s all plastic so it was easy to cut.
I used protective door trim that people use to protect their doors from dings. It finished off the look and covered any little imperfections.
I remounted the steps using some 3M molding tape in the corners by the rear tire to make it a little more stable. Was absolutely worth the time and saved massive money. Plus it looks good IMO.

if you could give me a measurement on yours that would be great, I actually have a different brand of step made by Truckmate: Hoop Running Boards Side Steps Nurf Bars fit 2010-2020 Toyota 4 runner Bars | eBay and they seem pretty solid. I have not installed them yet due to the issue with the Rocker panel. They seem to mount very similar to the Nfab and look very similar for a fraction of the cost.

I am measured out right at 2 3/4” from the top of the front portion to the area where I cut.
