stock plates/isolator/coils. the only part i replaced up front was the struts. when i find the TRD coils, i will replace the stock 4runner coils.

because if i move the coil up to the final 5th groove, the strut will be pretty much at full extension. with the tundra TRD coils, i can set the perch on the second groove, from bottom up, and with the rear setup will level off the truck. plus the strut will have more travel.

I went with the Daystar 2" because I needed a quick cheap lift to get rid of some rubbing issues with my rims. I went with the MK6's with the -12 backspace so they stuck out more than stock. also on 265/75/16 Duratracs.
P.S.-I went with the TRD center caps over the big 8 ones that came with the rims they're a direct fit

You'll need Tundra spring isolators for the front. Wheeler's has them for like $22 a pair.

I think that's everything. I'll know for sure when I install mine.

Let me calm your fears. I have owned 2 previous Tacomas (2005 and 2006) and lifted both of them (First one was 5100s set on 2.5" lift and second was OME 885) and both were stiff after I lifted. Just this week I put the Toytec 3" spings (600lb) along with Tundra 5100s on the second notch and 890s on the back. The ride is great. Not harsh at all. It is perfect for me. Yours should ride even better with the Tundra springs since they are progressive rate.

OK, I can confirm that if you order the above P/Ns you'll get the YY and YB TRD Tundra coils. Those are the ones I received. I got those from an online Toyota dealer for $275 shipped (ouch) and got the rest of the stuff from Wheeler's. I got 906 rear coils, 5100s up front for a Tundra and Wheeler's new 5100s specifically for the rear of the 3rd gen 4Runner. I got the Tundra coil isolator P/N MON 907926 as well. I plan to do the install this weekend and will post up a how to video for the install and some pics as well.
The 5100s Billies sure are pretty. Wheeler's sent me some candy in my box as well. That was a cool touch.

The best price I found was from Wheeler's. $195 for the pair. Fast shipping and candy in the box...can't beat that.

Well, got the front buttoned up yesterday. I always forget what a PITA suspension work is LOL. I ended up having to use the bottle jack method to get the lower shock bolt in. That's a bit un-nerving. I had to take the passenger side strut back out because the spindle was hitting one of the coils at full drop. I rotated the coil 180° and believe that issue is solved.
I'm gonna work on the rear tomorrow and hope it's easier.

Nice! Good luck w the rear install.
I just crawled out from under mine. Spent some time spraying PB Blaster on the suspension parts that are being replaced. I will be getting some help with the lift install as I've never done it and it's my DD.
I have done nothing but maintenance on the truck so far. Feels like the lift is finally something for me.
