2008 V8 dual exhaust?

Check my build thread. I have headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with magnaflow race series muffler, dual in dual out, no cats. She's loud! Blows the Chevy's with straight pipes away! Lol

Rofl! Loud exhaust causes addiction, worse Mileage due to hammering down to hear the rumble, withdrawal when working, and many other issues.

I had it best of both worlds not too long ago.
Cracked a section just after the cats, was loud muscle car under load and under freeway speeds, but quiet (like stock) once up to speed and cruising.

Too bad the misses didn't like it, fixed it, now back to boring stock levels.. /sad
 
anyone have a picture of the the under side with dual exhaust (one on each side) installed and the spare tire still there. I would like to keep my spare... interested to see how everyone else ran the exhaust.

It could be done buy it would definitely be difficult. responding to your pm now.
 
Here's the rear of my duals. As you can see, there really isn't room for even a regular size spare.

the way borla did it, the pipe came out of the passenger side and then the for the driver side pipe, they route it along the axle and out came the driver rear corner like the passenger side.

How much room do you have between the exhaust and spare tire? I have had the Borla exhaust for some time and just upgraded my tires to 265/70/17 KO2s. I had to do a lot of finagling to the spare to get it not to touch the exhaust, but there is less than 1/8" to spare (pun?).

I am thinking about taking it to an exhaust shop to see what they can come up with.
