2011 4R Wheel size change

is that a Trail Teams? I don't know much about them but I thought they came with sliders. I don't see sliders.

edit: that is just a 2011 FJ, here are the details from the same site:

"The Toyota FJ Cruiser offers a new trail-oriented Trail Teams Special Edition Package each model year; for 2011, the Trail Teams Special Edition is distinguished by a distinct Army Green exterior color, special green fabric trimmed seating and interior trim and a standard Off-Road Package."

I also thought the Trail Team Editions came as one color for both body and roof, one year was all black and another year was all white. They may have changed it but not sure.

I know the come in some sort of tan, and the hood is black. The above is not a trail teams.

all you guys are right. both of my buddies have Trail Team FJs. one is all white with black trim, the other is all tan with black hood and trim. both come with factory sliders. check it out!

I stand corrected regarding the supposed picture of a Trail Team edition FJ that I posted! The two sites that I went to show the same blue FJ and describe a Trail Team edition even though the color is supposed to be Army Green. :hiding:

I'm a huge fan of the TT FJs. The white and black one is my absolute favorite (because of the awesome wheels and I <3 white). The desert sand one looks good too. Can't wait to see the green TT, though. I love that army green color.

FYI, it looks like the standard wheels for the 2011 FJ will be the same as the 2010 4Runner Trail Edition.

17" TRD Wheels in 6-bolt Spotted!

I am not sure but now you can get this wheel for 2011 TE. only 5 lug nuts.

Just came across a post on the Tacoma Forums that has pics of the TRD Wheel in a 6 bolt pattern (apparently spotted at the Baja 1000). Here's a link and pics at the bottom... the wheels do actually exist! Anyone have a dealer that has info on them yet? My local parts dept still doesn't have any details on availability.

Just called TRD to check on the status of the wheels and they're still "in work" but the tech that the customer service agent was IM'ing with said that they were "getting close". She suggested that I check back in March (apparently the are releasing some other parts in that timeframe and she guessed the wheels may be ready at the same time).

And, FYI, MSRP on the 5-bolt wheels is $399 each so expect that to be the same for the 6-bolt one.

Found some pics on the Toyota Racing site of these wheels mounted on the Baja 100 T4R -- looks like they actually saw some race time. Not sure if they started the race with the TRD wheels or the custom ones that most of the pre-race press pics show, but they definitely mounted them at some point. "Called my dealership today....asked about the TRD rims on the 4R site, I figured since it has been displayed a while they had to have 'some' info....

She did a lot of digging with me on the phone and came up with the part number:

PTR45-35010 with a list price of $399.00 each

Said that there was not a single one in the system (have not been released)"

Have to admit, I thought Toyota and TRD were jerking us all around and weren't going to release these wheels... man, am I happy that I was wrong! 453030 mounted them on his Mag Grey TE last month, check out the link to his post:
