Man, that is horrible! Unfortunately, I know exactly what you are feeling- 4 times in fact throughout the '90's.
Let's look at a few positive things...
They didn't cut the wiring harnesses.
The tint contained a great deal of broken glass.
Looks like no body damage- just easy to replace plastic/electronics
Nobody was hurt.
It didn't rain and ruin more stuff.
You can get a nicer Nav/stereo now.
They will burn in hell.
Keep your head up Foques!

nobody got hurt? How is this a good thing? lol I'd bounce them off of the pavement a few times.
The odd thing about this whole situation is that my emotion has been fairly flat lined.. I was unhappy, yes. but not angry. I'm sure i'll get pissed once insurance will try to get the best of me, but the only reason why I want to hurt the little cowardly piece of **** who did that is because i'm inconvenienced. I'd even let them keep the headunit.. lol
Good point about the new headunit, though.. I do wonder if I can swing a z140bh now.. hmm.

I had the same thing happen to me in 2009 on my 05 Tacoma - twice - six months to the day from one event to the next. I was lucky in that they didn't cut or tear anything, too. I had an AVIC-Z110 initially, they stole that, I upgraded, they stole that, so I upgraded again. I'm definitely paying a premium through my insurance company for the claims, though.
If it makes you feel any better, id LOVE to help you bounce the cowardly little pukes off the ground, more then a few times. It takes a real piece of sheet to do that to another persons property. Good luck with the fix.

yeah.. that's the most re****ed thing. My alarm went off, car was blaring horn.. and nothing.. nobody looked out. I am keeping my keys with me at all times going forward.
also, considering ordering some piezo alarms from europe, and wiring them in..

. I had a VERY expensive alarm system. As I stood in the bed of my pickup truck prying the slider open with my knife- alarm screaming- probably a hundred people walked by and didn't say a word. Lesson learned.
Alarms only work for honest thieves.
