2014 Trail Rocker Trim

So my fear about the toe space was real. Good to know.

Next to decide between ~$430 + paint for OEM, or ~$310 for Shrockworks. Or spend the time calling junk yards for pull-offs.

Worth checking to see if you state has one. Currently in CA, there are some of these available in Roseville.

After looking at your pics again I meant pic of rear not front.

Know what you mean skinny at the waist. If I do this mod, eventually I would get some sort of aftermarket bumper (assuming one is availablefor the Limited), and possibly either aftermarket bumper or SR5 bumper for the rear. But with sliders or Nerfs the middle isn’t way too high for the ends.

Here you go. I just added the Go Rhino nerf bars this morning (I don't need sliders at this point...) which improves things a bit.

I completed this mod on 2013 LE. Very simple, thank you all for posting. Toyota part numbers listed were still relevant and accurate.

Nope it is just like having trail trim for free and you don't have the missing piece under your back doors. So in reality it looks more complete.

Nice. I wanted to do this but the price to thip those mouldings was just ridiculous.

I ended up just cutting mine down. I'm pretty happy with it and it didn't cost me anything.

Is there anyway to get rid of that rear door gap if you swap out the limited trim for the trail trim? Love the look of the trail trim, but I know that weird gap would drive me nuts.

I’d prefer to leave the Limited rocker trim intact in case I ever wanted to put it back on.

I thought the same and once I put the rock sliders on you can't notice it at all.

However to answer your question you just have to order the piece for the door.

I think this should have the part listed TE Parts Needed to Convert SR5/Limited Exterior

I Installed the trail rockers on my 2011 SR5
to answer your question, no I did not find any adapter for the rear fender flare
It really doesn't look too bad. I'll just live with it till I can get some sliders and that should hide it a bit.
I realized that the mud flaps from the old rockers won't work with the new trail rockers so I have ordered those should have them next week.

OK I have a question for the guys who have installed these rockers.
What is the little black button for. I found these at the bottom of the bag with the rocker (only one per bag). Its not a push pin it's some kind of plug.

Anyone know why the trail trim has a body drain hole in the rear and limited does not?

Question on your conversion. For the last 2 part numbers (L&R Rocker Molding) do you need to double each part number to cover the front and back, does it only go on the front, or is there a different part number for the back rocker molding?

There is no back molding. Technically, that's part of the rear fender flare trim.
