I actually like the rack specifically because the deflector isn't chewing away on the roof paint. Nice that it is stepped off the roof. Why don't you like the rack?

Not trying to high jack, Just a quick thanks. Yours was the only pic I could find a fiamma on a 4runner and helped make my decision. I got the other mounts so it lays flat. My Bundutop RTT goes right over it. (I vinyl wrapped my RTT in Black...yes, that is it hanging in my garage) love your truck!

3.5 Weeks into our 8 week overland trip. Everything about the ManRunner is working excellent! Wouldn't change a thing (aside from the Baja Rack, but in its defense its serving its purpose without functional issue).
