Looking at a 2016 TRD Pro myself

Can anyone tell me the width of the sliding rear glass opening? I'm debating between a 4Runner TRD Pro or a Tacoma TRD Off Road. I live in Chicago so an SUV is more practical for me than a pick-up (not to mention I like to do a lot of impromptu camping and I can sleep in the cargo area of the 4Runner with the rear seats folded down). I have plans to do some DIY renovation on my condo. I'll be making lots of Home Depot runs for drywall and wondering what I could fit hanging out of the rear glass opening. That way there's no need to have to lash it down to prevent it sliding out of an open lift gate. Thanks!
