Interesting as I just built a 2020 Limited and no where is remote start listed in the build. You'd think it be found under safety and convenience but no dice. I'm not complaining here but it does seem like a missed opportunity to highlight that feature given the inquiries.
You'll get it with the limited trim.
I also contacted toyota and there's no option for the 2020 as well as no app option. I ended up letting the dealer install an aftermarket one that uses the original key and works like the OE ones from previous years. There is no OEM option at this point.
Any idea what brand the aftermarket version was? How do you like it?
Actually picking up the vehicle tomorrow morning and I'm gonna try and get the instructions just in case I have any issues.
If I have any info to pass along I will.
12 volt is out of stock for the 4runner. I could not find how much they cost, what did you pay for the remote for your Taco. Our 2020 TRD Pro came with the remote start. I have 12 Volt Solutions on my Taco with the app and love it, very easy to install and setup.
I have a 2020 TRD ORP and the remote start was not active.
I did however, install RC Autoworks’ remote start/alarm and have the capability with added security.
from my understanding at my dealership, which ever model has the push button start has this function ...
only things i dislike about it, is the range sucks and when you unlock it to gain access, it shuts the truck off

This is not std on any model, its an option. My 2018 Limited has it and it was an option.

How was the install on the RC Autoworks? I will be receiving mine on Friday, with the drone mobile add on
