4 wheelin' pics in my friend's 150 acre playground

Just thought I would post a few pictures from my weekend 4Wheelin' adventure in my friend's 150 acre sandbox. We used a $250k excavator to make a fun off road track. Not the greatest pictures but I can never get the image to reflect the actual angles. Oh well.

Got a little over ambitious on this one. Had to get the bulldozer to help out.

There is darker, fresher sand flung in front of it which would lead me to believe that he got stuck in his 150 acre sandbox.

Must be one of those traction strips, or something being used as one.

Ya it is a traction strip. Something like tow truck in a box. Can't remember the name of it. I have used it a couple times with fairly good results.

Do you have the stock gas tank skid plate and how did it hold up?

That's what I thought. I used a much clunkier similar thing in the late '70's. I might have to put one of those on my "I want" list

I do use the stock gas tank skid plate. Most of the wheeling I do is either sand, dirt, or mud so not a whole lot of rocks. It holds up great on those surfaces. If I did rock crawling I would change it out.
