4runner TRD Pro

I'm in Chicago and I've got a 2016 TRD Pro with about 1400 miles on it. I've only been averaging about 13.5mpg, which is way lower that 17 it's rated for. I don't have a particularly lead foot and I haven't been hauling anything. Checked the tire pressure and they seem to be right at manufacturer sticker of 32psi. How have other people's experiences been?

I was the same. Took around 5K to break in for lack of other explanation. Went from 13ish to 18. Crazy.

I'm planning on trading in my 2014 Trail for a 2016 TRD Pro but for some reason most of the TRD Pros are on hold at the Gulf States Toyota port. Just my luck! At least I get to check on it daily since I work at the dealership lol.

Just feel like getting something new and I'm in an equity position. Plus we already had this TRD Pro coming that wasn't spoken for so I thought it would be here quick until it got delayed.

these are most likely going through EPA and CARB stuff because of the VW scandal. Lots and lots of vehicles at port right now from many manufacturers

Hello all, new member here. Wanted to share my order process for others who placed orders.

Ordered a TRD Pro back in February. Vessel Arrived in Long beach on 03/04/16. Port processing took place on 04/06/16.

Shipment to dealer was supposed to be yesterday but it didn't leave. Dealer I ordered through is about 90 minutes from the port.


Hopefully it comes today but doesn't seem likely per the dealer. They are not sure of the hold up.

I saw a metallic grey TRD Pro in traffic the other day, looked better than any 4runner I've seen. Just gnarly. Wonder why they drop such a great looking color.

What's the process and how hard will it be to get one?

Go to your Toyota dealer and put $500 down as a deposit. It's a special order. You need to make sure the dealer is qualified to get a TRD Pro. I heard not all dealers are qualified, but do the special order thing, you may wait 6months+ for it. Good luck!
