I did the full interior LED swap, and I highly recommend it. The OEM interior bulbs are terrible.

If you purchase out of state, taxes are paid when you go to register your vehicle in your home state.
Are all cali dealers marking them up? Just called a dealer in northern cal, they want 5k above msrp. I hung up the phone.

Yes all dealers in california are marking up. Maybe a few are not..? Don't even bother.

Ok done - doing it. I'm spending damn near $800 just on lights, but that's full exterior and interior.
Not yet - did the group order so I don't think I'll see them for another 10 weeks
In my 6 months of searching in 2016, California always marked up. I heard of a single place way north (i cant find their info as they stopped calling me back) but they apparently sell them for MSRP. All my bay area, LA and San Diego searched reaped well over MSRP prices - usually closer to $10k.

will do! Side note - how do you like you KO2s? Was thinking of swapping out stock with the KO2s, mainly for the look - are they great? Any more or less mileage or noise? Performance?
I love the KO2s.
I ran first generation KOs on my first 4Runner (2003 Limited). Then I switched to Duratacs when I got my second 4Runner (2014 Trail Premium). That one was killed by hail last spring (RIP), and I got the 2016 TRDP to replace it. The dealer swapped the original tires out for a set of KO2s before I drove it off the lot for the first time.
Out of the 3, I definitely prefer the KO2s. When these wear out, I'm planning to replace them with another set of the same thing. I've never felt like they've been loud or rough on the street or highway, and they've performed great the times that I've taken them off-road (so far, only in a couple of extreme mud situations when hunting).

As for me, I'm coming out of a built Tacoma Sport to jump on the T4R both before any design change and, well, beacause Cement! Also I think people feel good about the economy for the first time in forever.

Awesome. Did the dealer charge for the change? I may ask my dealer to do the same. Do you have any pics of your TRDP? I want to see how the stock size KO2s look. I feel like most people that change out the tires also throw a lift on there - something i'm not planning on doing - at least for a while.

Dealer charged for the new tires but also gave credit for the price of the original tires since they were unused.
I don't have any pictures of the current ride, but I can snap a couple this weekend if you want to see the stock size KO2s.
I very lightly modified the suspension on my last 4Runner (Bilstein 5100s all around with the front adjustables set to 1.75" and 20mm OME trim spacers added to each rear coil), but I bought the TRDP with the specific intention of keeping the stock suspension---at least for the near future.

I'd love to see pics. You go white text out or in? Yea. I don't want to mess with suspension. Had so many headaches on my old Jeep. I want zero worries.

South Bay Toyota sells for MSRP, I bought my trail teams Fj from them for sticker and I am on a wait for a TRDP for the same deal. Also, I heard that either Claremont or Montclare Toyota is getting a white one in the next three weeks and it is unsold. They too are selling for sticker. I have found plenty of places around SoCal that are not jacking up the price, problem is they don't have any allocation on this last order.

I was getting the same from the Bay Area dealers and was even told by one that they might even sell theirs to the highest offer... lucky I found Antioch Toyota and today I went to pick it up. Got it at msrp. [emoji1417]

Hello, first post here :hatsoff:
Ordered mine in October and dealer won't tell me anything but its going to be here soon. Can every dealer see this tracking system? I've asked for a VIN and dates with no luck.

They should definitely have a VIN if it was ordered then and "here soon".
However, if they haven't been allocated one yet, then I am not sure if they will have a VIN, YET.
I put my deposit down in August, allocation confirmed in Sepember, received VIN late November
