Your add'ons, fyi, to most people will tell them you have wheeled, which is extreme on components. You can't say I added X dollars into it, therefore I can add X dollars to the sell price. Not even close, not when 95% of people are looking for the most reliable purchase. You have stressed components and put it through out of the ordinary usage.
I am a large fan of the general "the car is worth what it is worth, let the market determine" response, as in, sell it for what you can sell it.
In this case, I can honestly say, 20k is an INSANE price. Insane. I have a 2005 v8 4x4 sport edition in almost perfect condition that I bought LAST YEAR for 12.5.
Your truck, same year, is not worth 20k. I would try 12k and understand that your modifications will remove 90% of people from considering it. The 10% that do roll up, most of those, like us, will know that a wheeled vehicle is a way to move the price DOWN. I am not going to spend market on a truck I know I will probably need to replace components.
It goes like this: You want to be the one who wheels in it, not the one that buys it wheeled.
YOu want to break it, not buy it broken. You can swear UP AND DOWN that it is in excellent condition, but the fact is.... you never know and people will assume you have used it out of the ordinary.
Honestly? 2wd? 10k.
