Hi Bob, hope you are well. Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it ?

How much of a lift did you achieve ?

I had a set install along with new tires and a full alignment. It made a huge difference in the way the truck handled. I think you will be happy with this mod.
Also I have no before pictures.

did $150 include alignment? If so that is a great price!
Pics

mine are going on next week. All four corners, I am going 1.75" with 1" pucks out back

$150. sounds like a great deal. I got a quote from local national tire dealer. Are you sitting down? $1,450. plus alignment.

I got the same quote from tire dealer. So I ordered the 5100s from Amazon and the same dealer installed for $250. Go Figure.

I had it done by a local independent shop for $185 including alignment.

I was going for level, the rear has Air Lifts but no increase in height. There was a 2 inch difference between the front and back when measured at the top of the fender well. I wanted to go with 1.75 but we put a floor jack under it, lifted to 1.75 and decided to go with 0.85. I looks almost level with a slight rake. I think without rear spacers 1.75 would have been too much.

Now I need to finish the job and put Bilsteins in back too.

Maybe remove yourself from truck and have a local guy compress spring and swap shock?

Pep boys can do entire job, if you trust them

Thank you sir, hope to meet up with you on the trails again soon.

Wow, I'd love to get it done for $150. Called one of the local shops who deals with Toytec and was quoted $250 just for install, another $70 for an alignment. Yikes.

Are they planning on dipping the set in gold?

Probably not gold. My guess is that they either don't want to do it, or don't really know what it entails. This was just the first stab at getting pricing. A lot of the answers here have had some good guidance.

Does the spring perch on the front 5100s come welded in/attached to the strut, or do you have to do that yourself before the install. I thought I read somewhere that the strut perch on bilstiens don't come attached, and need to be welded in as a part of the install process.

all comes ready to install. nothing needed to do except move the circlip to the height you prefer to raise the front.
