5100s at .85 and Caster Angle

Before half the forum chews me out, I apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere. I know it has generally been stated that aftermarket upper control arms are not necessary when using 5100s. What I am looking for is people's specific experiences with caster angle after setting 5100s at .85. With no front lift mine are currently maxed out at 3.7. The drive is significantly better at those settings. I am trying to see how much I will lose off that 3.7 if I get 5100s and set them at .85.

I guess ride quality is subjective to personal tastes but mine are set at 1.75" and I wouldn't expect a true SUV to ride any better than mine does right now. I don't have my alignment specs but was told it was not an issue getting within spec after installing the shocks.

I've had my 5100s on for about 2 years now. With no alignment regrettably. I finally went the other day after I bought new tires. I didn't request anything special, they simply made sure everything was in spec. Here's the before after sheet, though the only thing they really changed was toe.

Mine are set at .85 because I wanted level vs lift, and I am quite satisfied after ~2yrs. I would certainly suggest an alignment though, with the new shocks and settings. I had mine set to 4*, and am very satisfied with it.

Great to know you can get at or close to 4* with 5100's set at .85. That's the answer I was looking for.
