Cali Raised agreed that the light bar needed to be moved up a little to look better. They didn't believe that it effected the light beam but wanted to make me happy. They are making a new one to replace this one.
Now I just need them to make fog lights.

Anyone checked out the yotoleds option? 5-10 minute install and everything needed included is very intriguing for me, but limited reviews...

I picked these up with my Chinese TRD Pro grill kit. They snap into the grill and don’t require any other mounting hardware. Harness is well done, too. I purchased mine with the grill but they are $42 as a stand-alone item from cartrimhome.com.

Quick update on mine...still going strong. These are the bar-style LEDs found at Menards. I’m sure you can snag them other places too. Thought it would look better with the boxy 2010 styling rather than the bullet lights. I simply mounted them using 3M mounding tape found at any Vato Zone or other car supply store. Still love the look and not one issue with the active winter we’ve been having.

[MENTION=140439]Decipher[/MENTION] are they these lights? I was actually looking at them when I was there today they are only $5 a pop in store the lumen rating looked high on them though for marker lights so I didn't get any yet but still may for the price.

Also for wiring did you just use T-taps, an add a fuse and body ground like most everyone else?

Any reason why you cant tap into the underhood fuse box? Seems like it would be easier and there are unused slots there as well.. when youtubing I found a yotaleds install video where they use the underhood box. Granted its on a tacoma but there are unused slots on the 4runner as well. I like that you can use that box and still be able to replace the lid, also eliminates the potential for water intrusion to the cab when going through the firewall.

I went ahead and did this today. $32 into it and less than an hour longest part was making the harness and feeding wires through the loom. Lights are zip tied currently I have a PRO grille on the way and have a spot for #3 in the harness once I get the PRO grille I'll likely 3D print some mounting hardware or do away with the zip ties .

They were an optional add on with the TRD grill kit from cartrimhome.com. They can be purchased with the grill or as a stand-alone item.

It's easier to tap under the steering wheel because there are empty fuse plugs that you can use, you also don't have to make any holes in the water tight fuse box under the engine

I believe the ignition IJN fuse is empty under the hood. You don’t need an empty fuse anyway. On the add a fuse it’s a dual fuse bay. You plug the existing fuse and the new grille light fuse into the add a fuse slots, then the add a fuse into the fuse box slot. The grille light fuse should be a 10 amp fuse. The options for the under hood box are the ignition, headlight, or tail light (parking lights) fuse. There’s also ways you can get the add a fuse into the under hood box without making a hole in it.

I'm currently in the process of doing the same (first time ever doing something similar) and I got a question.
I read many guides that tell how to install the lights in the fuse box in the cabin (driver side).
But I'm not sure how to connect to the OEM switch instead? All the switches I found have 4 cables.
Do I just use 2 of those (power and ground)?
Or leave the ground in the chassis and use just the power?
