I bought my lights from Amazon and made the harness to be like the ones that Are sold. I have $29 invested.
Is that a SDHQ mount? On the limited the upper mount is just a tad low (it is made for the other trim models). Mine is just slightly higher than that but my light bar might not be as wide as yours. So it may be as high as you can go. You might have to take a look at the mount and see if it will side up any higher.
Anyone checked out the yotoleds option? 5-10 minute install and everything needed included is very intriguing for me, but limited reviews...

Quick update on mine...still going strong. These are the bar-style LEDs found at Menards. I’m sure you can snag them other places too. Thought it would look better with the boxy 2010 styling rather than the bullet lights. I simply mounted them using 3M mounding tape found at any Vato Zone or other car supply store. Still love the look and not one issue with the active winter we’ve been having.

I’ve done exactly this with some other stuff. No reason you can’t. I’ve had perfect results doing both.

Is there is a purpose of the front grille ember lights or is it just for looks?

I’m planning to get these grille lights, but want to know where I should connect the fuse.
I see people connect the fuse to the fuse box under the hood and some are connecting through the fire wall under the steering wheel.
Where should I connect it and what are the difference between the two?
I assume connecting the fuse under the hood fuse box would be much easier than going through the fire wall, but why are people connecting the fuse under the fuse box under the steering wheel?
But if I were to go through the fuse box under the hood instead under the steering wheel, will there not be a slot for me to plug in the fuse?
