How much lift do you have your Icon set at? I'm wanting to run 285/65/18s, and the diameter is similar to your wheel diameter.
You don't rub the front bumper at all when the wheel is turned all the way to the right or left?

Pretty sure you can call or email dustin, or PM him or someone from FN wheels on this site. They're pretty active.
I can't answer the fully Body Mount chop question, but assuming you keep your wheel size stock, and your tire size stock, and no wheel spacers, I doubt you'll need to.
The guys at FN can answer these question too. They know their stuff.

Yes you have to do a body mount chop to run a 295 or even a 285/75. I would even do a chop for a MT 285/70.

Finally picked up some tires and got everything mounted.

Hello all lurker newb here. I have a 2010 2wd with stock wheels and while I don't know my tire dimensions they were just replacement sized/best rain on the road tires available.
Fast forward a few years and I'm offroad every weekend doing a lot of hunting that prior years. That said it's in Florida and it's just mucky, wet central state mess. No mountains heck not even a hill. I'm oneo f those 'just dive in and see how it goes' enthusiasm and I'm mucking along ok almost got stuck a few times, but momentum helped!
I'm teachable and ready for any advice in the spirit of I don't know what I don't know. Sometimes it's a depth problem some holes out there, but a lot of traction too where I'm just not locking on to anything hence where I've used some speed to get me through. What I dont' want to do is find out that is the worst approach 10 miles from any pavement stranded.
Is this a 4wd issue? Tire issue?
In a perfect world I'd love to be able to find some better performance not having to do a bunch of customization like spacers, lift and new wheels. Use my stock rims and put a bigger tire and just to. That said if that approach is akin to peeing in the wind I won't do it.

Pontentially both. The biggest disadvantage you have is only having 2WD. 2WD (especially RWD) vehicles are notorious for poor traction. Your option is either increase weight in the back to get better traction (People with pickup trucks use sandbags in bed during winter) or buy a 4WD version.
As long as tires are newer and have decent tread that's as good as you're going to get. Generally speaking, larger further spaced lugs do better than smaller, more tightly spaced lugs in the mud.

Newbie to the forums, so I need to catch up on my posts ...
I'm patiently waiting for the 2017's to come out, specifically eyeing the TRD Off-Road Premium with KDSS.
Since the 2017's are exactly the same as the 2016's, does anyone here have their '16 T4Rs with the following setup (exactly the same)?
- Stock suspension
- No lift
- switched out the stock silver TE/TEP wheels with the black TRD Pro wheels
- switched out the stock tires with BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2s in stock size 265/70/17 C, black letters out
Any rubbing issues with this wheel/tire combination? How's the ride quality? Noise? Any other issues to report?
It would be helpful if you can post pics so that I can make an informed decision.
Also, I may decide in the future to put in new suspension, but only after the stock suspension needs servicing and/or replacing. But still, no lift. What aftermarket suspension setup can you guys recommend for no lifting?
This T4R would be my daily driver, with the occasional camping trips with family/friends.

I'm new here as well. Don't have a 4R yet but like you, i'm waiting for the 2017. I've been reading and searching everything. Including tire size. 265/70/17 are stock on the 4R. So there shouldn't be any rubbing. I've read that going up a bit, 275/70/17 will yield the same results. However, there are some that do rub.
As far as to upgrading the shocks only, you can't go wrong with Bilstein.
