5th Gen Wheel & Tire Thread

Anyone running the Mickey Tompson Deegan 38 All Terrain tires? Didn't find any references in a few searches to those in particular.

Huge thanks to T4R.org, I learned about FNWheels & BFD in 18"!!!

After lusting the BFD for ~ year, I pulled the trigger last week!!! Huge thanks to Dustin for getting these to me in record time, and I am so happy how they look!

BFD wheels with 275-65-18 BFG TA KO2. Very minimal rubbing that some heat gun use fixed.

Did the ride improve going from a 20 to 18 inch wheel? My wife's Limited will need tires sooner than later and I have been debating changing wheel sizes.

the ride is about the same. i kept the tires at 45psi tho, these can go lower

Quick question for you all.

Due to some vibrations on my steering wheel I have been looking at changing tires.

I don't know much about tires, but from what I've been reading, the stock Bridgestone tires are garbage.

Question for you guys, do you think the Cooper AT3 4S tires will be smoother and better riding than the stock tires? Especially since the Cooper tires are an all terrain tire, and the stock ones are a street/highway tire.

I'd precipitate the feedback.

Thanks

Wow great thread

Ok folks awesome pics I have narrowed down my choices first I want a set of Trd treadlock in 17 and I need the specs of these rims please

Hey yall just got a 2019 T4R off road and am looking to do some upgrades. The first of which is tires.
Im looking at lifting it an inch or so, nothing too aggressive as its mostly a street ride.
Anywho Id like something more aggressive than stock and slightly bigger, that wont rub on the stock ride till I get the lift in there. anyone have any suggestions?

2017 TRD ORP
3” OME lift
2884 friont coils
2889 rear coils
SPC upper control arms @ +2 deg caster
SCS Ray10 17x9, 3.5” bs, -38 offset
BFG KO2 285/70/17

Wheels are SCS Ray 10 in matte gunmetal. These are the 17x9, 3.5” backspacing, -38 offset. Its comparable to running their 17x8.5 -10 WITH a 1.3” spacer. I had to remove the mudflaps and do a very aggressive BMC(thanks SSO), and I opted to do a conservative high clearance type cut on front bumper and well liners. No rubbing on or offroad after BMC.

...also look good in the North Georgia Clay color combo...

Does anyone has Evo Corse Dakar Zero wheels on a 5th gen? Or experience with the brand?

I know this is a very old post but if anyone is interested in a set of these at discount there's currently a GB going on on Tacoma World for them. 15% off :)

What is your speed and load rating on your K02's? Are you running C or E and Q or S? I just put on the same size but 116s speed rating and they weigh 58lbs vs the Q which weigh 51lbs. Having major vibration issues.

My limited with SCS Ray10's with 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

The lift is OME 885/889 with Bilstein 5100's and SPC UCA's. I removed the XREAS and I'm never looking back.

We just bought a 19 Premium FT4WD night shade. It rolls on factory 20” black wheels. What’s the best AT 20” tire can I run on the stock suspension? Thanks

Just bought this '16 Trail Premium 2 weeks ago. Has a spacer lift, but today...the Delivery Man Cometh! Wheels are on...ToyTec Boss now waiting for me and time.

Wheels installed an hour ago.

Walker Evans 17x8.5
Existing Nitto Terra Grappler - 285/75 17

These stick out 33mm more than stock. Little more rubbing up front in the front....no trimming on body mount needed but will trim a little of the bumper up front.
