As Bill already posted, we went for a bit of a drive earlier and took a trip up into the mountains.
The trip started at the house where Bill met up with my wife and myself.
One of the great things about being here is that we're only a few minutes from some really good 4-wheeling and some great scenery!
This was my first time wheeling in the mountains here in Colorado and all I can say is what a dump! This country here is so god awful and hideous! See for yourself
There isn't too many pictures, I need a new lens for my camera and Bill was having too much fun bashing around the mountain to take lots of pics. Its cool though, we did get a few poser pics
I think Bill has a video too so I'll see if I can get my hands on it. I'm a picture whore so I'll post all the cool pics and vids that I can.

SVD, I have a feeling you're going to love it out there--I made a similar move from Ohio to the Black Hills, and there is no comparison. It was the same for me with the wheeling, too--not many rocks in Ohio to climb, but there's an abundance here, and this was my first time rockcrawling. Your plans for the SAS and lockers sounds great--I would simply recommend not going with a Detroit in the front, unless you're making your beast for almost entirely trail-running. That E-locker would be sweet in the front. As always, great work on the rig!

So... I didn't have a CB when I went wheeling with Bill and I very quickly realized that I needed one and I needed one quickly!
I did as I always do, search craigslist because I'm cheap! I found a little compact CB that came with an antenna and a SWR meter for a whopping $40. Once I get everything installed I go to Bills place to test it out. Turns out that me being cheap bit me in the arse! Everything worked great except for the mic. I could get the radio to break squelch but it wouldn't transmit any voice. Bummer!! So I do what any other cheap B@s**** would do... get back on craigslist and find another good deal This time I found a nice Cobra 29LX (new in the box) for $70 at a pawn shop. I gave them a call and $40 later the radio was mine!
I was going to make some elaborate mount using some aluminum strap and rivet it together but I realized that due to the space I wouldn't be able to get it all in there and screw the bracket to the radio. So, like any other master fabricator would do, I used some good ol' zip ties
Okay, the story is over... time for the pics!
This isn't my best work but it'll do!
The antenna got mounted to the rear 1/4 panel. After the holes were drilled and the antenna installed I threw some RTV on it to seal it back up.

Thanks! It looks a little rough for now but I just needed to make it work for now. We have another wheeling trip tomorrow and I had to get it mounted. Last night when we went out it was just laying on the floor because originally I was going to test the CB until Bill's friend came by and said lets go wheeling.
With that being said... I'll have more pics tomorrow! I'm a pic whore so I'll try to take as many as possible!

I just got denied at going any further...
That picture makes it look so mellow 
Here's a little bit better view on a part of the reason I couldn't go any further:
I tried a couple different lines but every time I ended up sliding right back to that position.
I know I said I'll get more pics but we didn't do much wheeling. My electric fan took a dump so I had to hard wire it to the battery so it was constantly on. I almost overheated pretty good when it first went out. Luckily the temp only got high once for a second then I shut it off. Plus, one of the jeeps busted a brake line so he was able to fix it with a clamp to get him off the trail. With two of the four rigs in somewhat bad shape we decided to call it a day.
