I did that before and that's when hyde and kidv said they didn't work...??? I like the youtube videos, they can easily be embedded in the thread. But I didn't take the videos so I'm not going to complain. The thanks goes out to Acidmeld and FootofGod for taking the time to take videos.

I got some new shoes for the runner today. I found a heck of a deal on craigslist. I got 4 brand new 35x12.5x15 KM2's and one worn 35x12.5x15 tire (don't remember the maker) along with 5 15x10 mickey thompson classic II's, all for $850.

I'm loving the new look of the runner and I'm pretty sure that actually having tread on the front of the runner will be a good improvement on the trails

So, the only respectable thing to do is go wheeling!! FoG and I are going to hit up the local trails again this evening and have some fun :guitar2:

I would rather have good meats and no locker over bad meats with a locker. Armor is next then a locker. It's getting there, it's just an expensive hobby.

Geez, and here I am planning to get those exact same tires at full price! You lucky dog! I did find an online source that knocks the price down quite a bit from most others, though--anyone ever deal with Discounted Wheel Warehouse? They're about $30 cheaper per tire than other "discount" outfits, almost enough to pay for the shipping.

Nice tires!!! Km2s are great. I had them in 31s a while ago on my runner, even when there were getting down on tread they still hooked up great!

So... after my stunt in the mud my runner was having electrical issues. One battery and one alternator later, the electrical system is good again. Good thing the battery and alternator was under warranty. I replaced almost everything under the hood when I rebuilt the motor. I had the cooling system flushed and cleaned the radiator really good so the over heating issue is fixed.

In case I didn't mention anything about me never playing in the mud again... I HATE MUD AND SWEAR TO AVOID IT AL ALL COST!!

But I do feel like I'm on a roll with the goodies for my 4runner. A buddy gave me some staun deflators so I have the airing down part taken care of so the next thing needed was onboard air. I picked up a VIAIR Constant Duty 450c compressor with an air tank off of craigslist for a pretty good price.

All of this gets installed tomorrow. I am going to make some brackets for the compressor to install it between the battery and the charcoal canister on the passenger fender. I'm going to install the air tank above the rear axle and plumb a female fitting inside the gas tank cover.

I know I said armor was next but I got a good deal for this setup so I couldn't pass it up. :banana:

It's quite possible. I will spend the money on armor before I buy lockers. I would like to protect my 4runner as I am getting more and more ballsy with where I'm driving it.
