In regards to Firestone, I went for an alignment and they called me back to inform me the caliper was seized. They tried for awhile to free it up, and then sent me on my way without me spending a penny, so I wasn't too upset about the outrageous price. I did however make a sort of snide chuckle when he showed me the quote.

I plan on going back when I get my alignment though.

This is the only picture I have of it the day after I purchased it. Christmas Day 2010. Note the tacky stickers, running boards, and CHROME Tundra wheels. Other than that it had the Supra Injectors, a Split Second ESC1, Split Second ARM1, and APEXi SAFC

For now, because my wife wants to go to lunch, all I am doing is posting pictures.

I like your compass by the gear shift! Where did you get it, I'm looking for something like that for my rig! Is it usually pretty accurate?

I think that's an AFR gauge, not a compass.

You're right, in that picture it is an AFR gauge. I have since replaced it with a matching trans temp gauge, and the AFR / Boost gauges in a 2 gauge pillar pod.

Just a small update...

Nothing has changed since the last post, really. Alignment and some 01-02 tails from IanB.

One issue I am having is the infamous wet drivers side floor board. I ran a drain snake down my sunroof drains and hit them with some compressed air to no avail.

Not too worried about it since it won't see much rain this summer, but I'll figure it out eventually.

Other than that, just been enjoying it. Runs great, rides great, looks great... Think I'm in a sustainment phase for now. May sound deaden if I get bored next weekend.

Might try feeding some hydrogen peroxide down the tube and let it sit overnight. After letting that sit I blew it out with compressed air. Actually I first blew the rubber hose of the plastic drain tube between the roof and headliner.:sniper:

My driver's side floorboard has also been wet lately. It can't be the sunroof if you don't have one haha... the carpet got all moldy and I had to remove the underpadding. Has yours gotten that bad? I suspected the little rubber caps but sealing them didn't seem to help.

My buddy codyx36 told me he had the same problem and it was the grommet in the drivers side firewall. After pouring water down my windshield I believe him, and sealed it with some tape.

Also poured water down my sunroof drains and watched it spill all over the ground.

And yeah, I pulled my carpet awhile ago and shampooed and vacuumed it really well. It was quite moldy.

Did some driving in Oregon this weekend (meaning a lot of 55mph/1800rpm cruising, which is when my exhaust is loudest) and got tired of how loud my exhaust was while cruising.

Got home today and put some peel and seal in the cargo area. Quite the difference! Look forward to doing the rest of the cabin area.

Going to get the Trans flushed this next week in preparation for my trip on the 17th. My first real towing expedition (a fleetwood e1) from Dupont, WA to Redmond, OR. Also going to tighten up the trans kickdown cable thing to firm up the shifts for the added weight of the trailer.

No pictures, but this evening I took out all the seats/carpet and finished up placing the peel and seal on the floor of the cabin area. I plan to use B-Quiet sound deadening materials - B-Quiet Extreme in the doors, and if I ever start feeling antsy again, I may look for something to do the headliner with.

So far, in my opinion, the cargo area made the biggest difference. The work I did tonight didn't seem to make too big of a difference in road noise, however, my Eclipse AVN 5435 sounds the same on 40 now, as it used to on 50. I think that's pretty substantial.

As I said in my last post, I am taking a little road trip next week, so I will have more to comment after that.

Unfortunately, my trailer plans for the trip did not work out, but I kept my appt. at the dealer to get my trans flushed Friday.

I'll have a bit more input on it Friday evening... Haven't driven more than ~10 miles since it has been done. So far though, like I said, I am happy.

I truly appreciate that comment, Wizzle. Unfortunately my thread is nowhere near as exciting as COB's, but I am glad you enjoyed it. One day I will try to clean it up a bit, perhaps.
