This is the only picture I have of it the day after I purchased it. Christmas Day 2010. Note the tacky stickers, running boards, and CHROME Tundra wheels. Other than that it had the Supra Injectors, a Split Second ESC1, Split Second ARM1, and APEXi SAFC

Yea I want to hear more about the dyno session :) Truck looks awesome, fresh detail??

As Hepar knows my first dyno tune with the APEXi SAFC and Split Second ESC1 had me at 215hp with 243 lbft of torque to the wheels @10.20psi (which makes no sense), and a few drive-ability issues.

This past Saturday after taking out the those 2 things and installing the URD MAF/FTC I came up to 219hp with 249 lbft of torque to the wheels @ 7.72 psi, with all drive-ability issues resolved. It's honestly like driving a whole different vehicle.

I am a LITTLE disappointed with the numbers, and would like to blame them on my fuel pump not being able to keep up with the injectors, but in reality my AF ratio is nearly spot on until about 5000 RPM, where I quickly lean out. Granted, I don't often bounce off the rev-limiter, so I am not tooooo worried about.

As for the detail... Yeah, I washed it yesterday, no detailing. I cannot for the life of me polish out a swirl, and it REALLY bothers me. I have decided once a year I will get it professionally detailed, and after that stick to only hand washing. The PO was a big fan of car washes, so it's pretty bad for now.

Good to have you around, and glad you started a build thread.

We're gonna have to compare notes. I'm currently on, and am going to stay with, a 7th setup. I have the TRD computer running the injector now, but I'm going to convert it to the URD electronics w/a 2.2" pulley.

I'm going to dyno before w/the full TRD 7th setup, and after w/the URD 7th setup.

Clean a## truck btw... Always thought it was black based on your avatar. Also, what "tacky stickers" are you talking about in the first picture?

Edit... I "liked" your initial post, but that just seems so So Gay, is this facebook now?

mmmmm droool superchared... i often dream of having one in my truck.. lol anyway man im looking forward to your build thread

Well, I'm not exactly sure how much HP is lost when tested to the wheels but a good estimate is probably around 20%. That means we're (stock) running at roughly 152 hp while you're at 262.8! If you need a reminder of the difference, we should get together and switch for a bit!

Oh, my mistake, apparently I had already taken them off! When I bought it the truck was covered with STUPID stickers from local shops, witty gun laws, witty music crap... Things of the sort.

I have a picture SOMEWHERE with them on it... Now I just have the URD and TRD Decals.

Thanks for the compliments though, I love your truck. And as far as notes, I would be happy to compare. I may someday go the 7th Injector route. Tuning is just too dang expensive to be doing every other month!

So far my next steps I think will be the fuel pump, trans cooler/gauge ( when I get that gauge I will move the AF to a pillar with a TRD boost gauge. ) and the 2.2 pulley.

Ok, cool. Because at first I thought you were talking about the OEM "TRD" and "Supercharged" decals/emblems, and I'm thinking to myself "Those look GOOD!"

You're gonna have to learn to tune on your own man. That way you can just mess with it. I've had the URD 7th kit, a BR-3, and all the other bits sitting in my garage since October. I need to get on that already.

I was watching your other thread about the lean out. I'll bet you a beer it's the fuel pump. You mentioned it's loud, so I'm sure it's an upgraded pump, probably a walbro 190, but if the wiring is whack (ie the guy used some small gauge wiring to set it up) it may not be getting the power it needs to operate at capacity. Those supra injectors are big boys compared to the t4r stockers. Pretty much the same thing I have in my Supra and those ones feed 14lbs of boost all day w/no lean out. They need some healthy fuel pressure on the inlet side.

Yeah, it must be the pump. I am just going to order a new walbro from URD so I only have to pull it once if it is not the right one. Then sell it to a forum user for cheap if it is one? Win win I say.

I have the ability to tune myself or with a friends help, I like the numbers and graphs though :-). Not to mention the whine of the supercharger inside on the dyno.

Nice ride and nice to see some dyno #'s. I am running the 2.2 pulley but the 6 318 injector kit from URD is still in the garage. been debating on selling it and getting the 7th inj kit from URD.

Have any more details and/or pictures on how you mounted this gauge? I am thinking of mounting a trans temp gauge there but not sure I have the room underneath.

The AEM uego is by no means a shallow gauge. If you put it directly in the middle (Left to Right) you will be fine. Mine is a little to the right and is hitting one of the relay things under it, on the left side of the relay, making for a VERY tight fit. Right in the center would be MUCH better. Hope that helps man!

Do you run an AF gauge? You must be running stupid lean. I like the oem look of the 6 injectors, but Urd recommends the 7th injector for us with the 99+. I am going to upgrade to the 2.2 very soon. I like how they look :-P

Jsmarine, check out my build (page 6) and 4-Ripcord's too (page ?).. We both sunk an autometer trans temp gauge in that spot. We both had to move some things around underneath the trim to get the gauge to fit.

Today I updated the navigation disc/firmware in my Eclipse 5435.

I am not 100% sure what all it updated, but I know that now I can make my screen look like this, when I turn it on.

Hepar, in this photo you can see what I was talking about, how the dash is angled, and the 5435 is straight, which makes it look a bit uneven.

i was about to say that background on your deck is badass! but **** if its not supposed to be like that then, damnn sorry to hear hope you get it fixed!

Nono, it's supposed to look like that now. With the new Firmware I am able to change the opening screen like that.
