Done.... For now.

Well, today I was able to install my URD 2.2 Pulley and Walbro 190LPH Fuel Pump.

The swap of the pulley was very straight forward and went flawlessly. I also changed the Supercharger belt while I was in there.

Results:
I am running far too lean now and will being doing a self-tune tomorrow.

My boost seems to be kicking in with far less throttle, however, I am reluctant to get to WOT while I am running this lean.

Installation of that fuel pump was sort of a pain, simply because of having to drop the tank. The previous owner had a pump installed before I bought it, but had no idea which pump it was, so I purchased a Walbro 190LPH from URD. Another reason I did this was because on my last Dyno tune the mechanic was having trouble getting any more fuel around 5k RPM. I knew which injectors I had, so I figured the pump was the culprit.

WELL, now the stupid part. When I removed the old pump I noticed that it was a Walbro as well; I Googled the part number and it was a Walbro 255LPH pump. When I tune tomorrow I should be able to determine if perhaps the 255 was faulty or something.

Gadget at URD recommends the 190LPH over the 255LPH, so maybe the 255 was just simply too big? Who knows. We will see tomorrow.

hey can you get me some more info on that T fitting for the temp sending unit? like where did you get it? how much and what all would i need to get with it? would you have any part numbers?

I got mine at schmucks. The part numbers I no longer have, but it was around $20 for all 3 parts. Ripcord has them listed in his build though!

I followed BigFishAllDays install guide and it lists EVERYTHING you need but rthe temp sender.

Well I just got off of the phone with every Toyota dealer within 50 miles. My birthday was yesterday and my parents were generous with their check book, and I told my wife I was going to spend $100 of it on the 4Runner, since she spent about $600 on it for my Birthday. (See the Mods from the end of May)

I was inquiring about the parts needed for the Tacoma Whip Mod, and am pretty disappointed with the results. On the guide from 4Runners.org - Maintain it. Mod it. he lists the price for BOTH components at about $65.00. Toyota of Kirkland wanted $140, while Toyota of Tacoma, Titus-Will Toyota, and Toyota of Olympia all wanted $104.

Anyway, after 10% Military discount I am looking at $94. Going to do this today.

I got all the parts from my dealer for like $40.. That first part number, the 86300-35090 contains the antenna assembly AND a SILVER antenna. So that is really all you NEED. The black antenna is what the other part number is.. I just painted my silver antenna black but left the tip silver. Should work just the same.

Too late, but a good tip for others. I paid $85 out the door with the assembly and black antenna. Install was easy. AND NOW I CAN LISTEN TO MORE THAN THE 1 COUNTRY STATION THAT CAME IN ON THE RADIO!

Awesome job on the truck man. Everything looks nice and clean. Can't wait to see it in person!!

i had the taco mod for like 10 days and i run through a drive through car wash(only cause i had some free tickets to the place) and for some reason the machine stopped/shut down with my half way through it and the huge heavy cloth wash rag that hangs from above bending my antenna over... i sat like that for like 5min, and then the machine started back up and as soon as it did it snapped my antenna... the place said it was my not their fault and that they would not pay for the damages! WTF they said it was my risk F you kaddy car wash!

yeah tell me about it, and no i need the whole set up... cause the mast snapped off in the threads so i cant get it out...

that does suck kid.

That's why the only water my truck gets to see is the random mud holes around base I drive through. I honestly don't think i have ever washed that thing.

Wilson Oh yeah I thought I saw you at wal mart tonight and so I was checking out the truck from a distance looking for your sticker on your passenger rear window. As I did this my wife was giving me an ear full about how I was a creepy internet stalker. haha she is def not a big 4runner fan like I am.. lol. Turns out it wasn't you.
