No its a pretty straight forwards deal...2 things I can lend a tip towards

1) Spray down your bags with wd40 so you can slide them easily in between the coils. Once you squash them down and hold your finger over the nipple, they should slide right in.

2) For the bump tops, there is enough room to get a razor blade and "push" your way through wearing gloves and using needle nose or anytype pliers. A new blade will cut through fairly easily. All in all I didn't even have to jack up the truck, just rolled right underneath it.

Oh Well...

I used soapy water to get the airbag to fit. I have ToyTec's super flex coils, so longer then stock or OME 2.5 inch.. Needed a ton of space to get the OME Coils out and the Tpytecs in.

I had run the Toytecs originally but were too squishy once I loaded all my gear fro trips...Had a very new set of OMEs that I felt were to stiff (mediums) for my FJC.. I tried them on the 4runner, felt the same too stiff for everyday..So back to the ToyTecs with Airbags..

Really seems like I might have a good combo, we will see. Heading to Canyonlands in 9 days, will test them out for sure!

I love my Airlift 1000! I have the simplest, manual fill version with separate right/left fill valves. These photo’s have about 75lbs in the T4R cargo area. The wood is wet and heavy. The trailers’ axle is set back so there’s a fair amount of tongue weight. The one with my 210lb fat butt tells the story…

I have 27L/24Rpsi in the bags for the photos.

If anyone is considering the Airlift or the Firestone I say do it. Generally it’s a $100 mod and very worth it IMHO… (I put the word Firestone in there for future searchers )

I try to figure what part number should be for my car with OME lift , can anyone advise in this .I need part number because I have to order this in your country and I should not make mistake , delivery will be costly. Greetings Marek

I ordered from 4wheel parts. I wondered the same thing but I think the 1000s are pretty generic.

part nr 60809 and it will work with 2 inch lift?
