huh? what fear? what the **** are you talking about?

I asked you a direct question, you deflected.

so, you would have done the exact same thing they did. then what are you going on about? YOU would have shot him also. unless you tell me otherwise, that you would have done something differently, that is what you are saying.
I answered your rant, I told you that they seemed to have him under control from what I can see.

Have you ever been in any type of situation like this?

"Under control"?

Having someone under control is not having them fighting you off and grabbing for a gun.

Again, I'll hold off final judgement until all facts are in, but I will damn sure give the benefit of the doubt to the boys in blue who try their best to keep the community safe for little pay, possibility of great bodily harm or death and such hatred and contempt from a large sect of folks whom they protect- rather than give the benefit of the doubt to the convicted criminal resisting arrest, looks to be reaching for a gun and who was called in as brandishing a firearm.

If it turns out this was a bad shoot- charge the officers and send them off to jail.

I am very curious if you have ever been Ina situation anywhere near resembling this confrontation.

You can Monday morning quarterback this shit till you're blue in the face, but if you haven't experienced these types of situations you are severely lacking the necessary perspective to be objective and understand how things work in real life. It ain't the movies.

I have extensive hand to hand combat training. What you see and feel means dick unless you've experienced these things and have proper perspective.

I urge you to seek out some training and educate yourself. You may find things aren't as you see them or feel them to be.

This perpetual "ah-ha your opinion is invalid bc you didn't answer my question gotcha" moment so many are after here is super lame.

So what's your opinion of the focus of black lives matters on the lives of blacks taken by white officers being the focal point of the movement when the reality is that is a MINISCULE percentage of blacks killed and the vast majority of blacks are killed by other blacks and those lives don't even get lip service paid to them?

How about your opinion on the BLM movement using deaths that are the fault of the person who died and not the officers who had to shoot them as a way to stir racial hatred?

For instance- "hands up don't shoot". That whole BS was fabricated, yet it is still being used to foment radicalism. Ferguson was a hot bed of criminal activity disguised as protest, protest over a legitimate shoot that wouldn't have happened had the guy who got shot didn't act stupid and make the situation go down the way it did.

I have considered your response and will dismiss it. Maybe you should be training the Police but you may want to change your "badass" nic first.

Care to elaborate? What is a "badass nic"?

I do train police and military and civilians.

ETA: I've even trained a few RCMP from the great white north eh.

Odd that you say that liberals don't want to talk about class. Wasn't income inequality a huge issue for liberals (and everyone) this election season? I would agree that it is definitely a contributing factor. Why are incomes lower among black people? Is it possibly due to differences in access to education, fewer employment options due to higher incarceration rates? Black history resulting in less inherited wealth and land ownership? hiring bias, etc? What some might call 'systemic' issues.

Decreased access to education? The black female is the most highly educated group in the US. How can 1/2 of the black population have greater access to education and more degrees than any other group in the country (including whites) but the race as a whole experiences decreased access?

Sure, meet me for a beer when you are local.

I believe he wanted to continue talk in this forum. You say he has issues with his training style.
The question gets asked if you were ever in a remotely similar situation.
Have you ever been in a situation when someone else had a gun or any weapon?
Have you ever been in a situation where you feared for your personal safety?
Have you ever had to step in and protect someone else from a bad situation?
These are just 3 basic situation police face every day. Yes even in Canada.

I am not LEO nor have I done time in the military. However I can answer yes to all 3 question. When those situation happen everything can go slow motion or fast forward. Depending on the people involved. A situation can go from ok I have a 99% chance of going home to my family to please God let me live to se my family in less than a second. While I have personally witnessed a bad cop. I stood up for my 4th amendment right and I got put on the S list. Pulled over all the time never written a ticked countless safety inspection. I realize that even the worst cop is better than no cops. Now we have Obama talking about a federalize police force. How can that be a good idea. Do you really think DC knows how to best police Florida, Main, Montana, Washington ect? Or would it be better for Quebec to enforce all of their laws across Canada. Even though they do not have local experience in Vancouver.

Most of this administrations activities have been done to consolidate power. Obama wanted to unionize HLS and all of their subsidiary's. Thankfully it failed. That would make it near impossible to fire the bad employees. The EPA in the name of clean water now has power over every pond in the country. You have to sue them individually to get you pond back. Healthcare ect ect.

What needs to happen now is the BLM movement if they cared about black lives would truly go and work in the inner city to help stop the number one killer of black people, black people. This may have started with good Intentions but has turned in to a militants group and it is bordering on terrorism. When people are afraid to come out to the city to shop. Afraid to go near where a rally is being held. That is a major definition of successful terrorism. Is this group truly want to be peaceful then step up and act the role. If not, well if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a ?

The tea party was accused of trying to cut welfare and other entitlements and prevent women from having abortions. And I say accused. The left called for them to be labeled a terrorist organization. The occupy movement had countless documented act of bigotry towards Jewish people in New York and the left was silent.

I am not proof reading this for errors as I have to attend to my son. But my point should be clear

@-JD-

Woah, to call it a "**** the police" movement is obviously not true. You never addressed my earlier question of where you are getting this information from? While I don't agree that BLM is a **** the police movement, I would certainly agree that a **** the police attitude is not beneficial.

I don't really see how we can ever meet in the middle. For me, personally when I see protestors throwing bricks at LEOs, throwing rocks and bottles, smashing police buildings and property as well as murdering LEOs across multiple state lines ... I conclude that those protestors are part of a F#$k the Police movement.

It isn't that hard to understand.

Maybe you have a different perspective because you don't identify with American police, firefighters and military the same way I do. Is this because you aren't American? I don't know.

What I do know is that I give the benefit of the doubt to those who risk their lives protecting American citizens. I wait for the facts to come in. Some of this likely comes from the fact that I served in the military but most of it is because of how I was raised.

You see BLM on TV throwing bricks at LEO and you conclude that is not a "F the Police" movement. Ok. Well we won't be meeting in the middle.
