I'd love to see a picture when you have a minute. Same problem.

Here are the pictures of the noodle. Glad I thought of this. It saved me from having to go through the headache of repairing scratches to the rear hatch.

The pool noodle mod needs to be in the sticky under "mods" - just sayin'

My worst scratch story if it helps you feel better - had a dark metallic green Citroen Xantia 14 years ago - brand new, it was my pride and joy. I'm giving it its first hand wash on the drive and don't realise my 2 year old son has come out to help - except he's using a rock not a sponge to help clean with. My wife had to whisk him away as I fell to my knees in front of the scratched up front wing. How we look back and laugh now, but not at the time I can assure you!
