Another Bilstein 5100 question

Can someone please post pics of rear bilsteins. Have trouble figuring out how the grommets go.

Metal washer, grommet, insert into mount, grommet, metal washer, and nut. Raised profile of grommet towards each other. (Flat side to washers)

I went 2.5" up front and 1.5 daystar in back. Sits perfect if you ask me.

Yes please I just ordered the set today and want to go up 2.5" in the front with a1.5" daystar spacer in the back....stock tires until I can afford a new tire and wheel combo though...and yes I know people will tell me how funny it will look..dgaf

There's quite a few pics in here with people running BFG KO2s or Duratracs that are stock size and still look pretty good.

Ignore them. I have for 3 years and 2 sets of tires. :wink2:

Check page 27, I have the same setup you are looking for. Bilstein 5100s in front and rear with 2.5 up front and 1.5 daystar in back.

Ignore them as CJ said. I think the stock size looks great and no worries with rubbing or fender mods!

Thanks for all the input finally got my lift done yesterday. 5100s w/ 884s set at 0, rear 5100s with stock springs w/ Cornfed 1 1/4 spacer. Stock tires for now but will be installing KO2 275/70/17

Lol. The only places I've been stuck bigger tires weren't going to help! And I still like getting 17 or 18 mpg!

That's all you should need.
And remember the torque spec for the lug nuts is 76ft-lbs. I say that because I'm sitting at Les Schwab waiting for them to replace one of my studs.

After reading trough all 29 pages I have narrowed my decision down to 2 options I guess. I have a '17 TRD Off Road and don't want a radical lift. Sticking with stock size tires.

1. Billy's at .85 nothing in the rear?

2. Billy's at 1.75 and 1" cornfed in the rear?

Obviously Billy's in the rear in either case just FYI.

Is there a difference in ride stiffness between .85 and 1.75 setting. And I don't recall anyone mentioning how the cornfeds affect the rear end. (stiffness/bouncines)

Thoughts ??

We have a 2017 TRD Off Road that should be here in a week and I'm going with 1.75 / 1" CF spacer. Can't comment on .85 vs 1.75 but our 2013 I had set to 1.75 and the ride was slightly firmer with less nose dive over stock, it rode great. I had 1.5 spacer in the rear and didn't notice much difference in the rear as far as it being firmer or anything, felt pretty much stock.
