I paid 2 months ago, and after several attempts to reach him via email, no response.
His website says 4 week wait time, which I call BS on it. I'm a patient guy, but I find the lack of communication from Prinsu unacceptable especially if they've exceeded their wait time by an additional month, with no explanation. All I want is a response from them, so I know where my money is. I'm going to try and reach out to them again via email in a week or so, after that, I'm going to initiate a charge back if I don't receive a response.

I think he has gotten way over his head. He use to reply pretty fast and it was 4 weeks. Now he doesn't seem to answer and it's taking longer.
I got mine in 6 weeks. [MENTION=123332]Drunner97[/MENTION] took 10 weeks to get his.
I say just eat a cookie, relax and wait it out. It's worth it once you have it on your ride.

He seems pretty cool and its not like this is a corporation we are dealing with. He has been very responsive to every question I have had. His racks are designed great and look like they stand the test of time. The price is really nice compared to the competition which doesnt even look as good.
I dont know, I have a friend that builds racks for 3rd and 5th gen 4runners and its a similar story. One man operations can fall behind with the slightest of a lil life speed bump.
Looks like the wait time is 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer. It really sounds like its worth the wait.

I emailed him earlier this week at my 11 week mark to ask for an update and change the shipping address b/c I moved and got back to me immediately. He said he was unsure why mine hadn't shipped yet and would ship it out the next day. I haven't received an e-mail for shipping confirmation or anything yet and coming up on 12 weeks.

Ordered 4/5, UPS label printed 6/4, picked up by UPS on 6/5, delivery estimated for 6/12 (east coast). ...... my wait is almost over.

Worth the wait time!
For those who debating on ordering, I say order it!. It's so worth the wait... I ordered mine back in Jan and got it at the end of March. There's no wind noise what so ever even with two cases on top, also my gas mpg didn't even drop at all. Do understand that he's a one person running most of this by himself, so I understand the wait time. Unlike Gobi who is a bigger company and has many employees, but know some wait time are 3+months for the Gobi rack. Also, my friend has the gobi rack and encountering some rust spots already. This is just my two cent.

So prinsu sent out out my rack the other day. So I will give credit where credit is due. His website is also now updated to about 8 weeks wait time, which wasn't the case when I ordered it (stated 4 weeks).
As I said before, my frustration is with the lack of communication, but at same time, I do understand that it takes time to build a good product.
So for any doubters out there, order at your hearts content..you will get your rack within the time frame stated on prinsu's website. Just keep in mind, the time frame may change, so check his website for updates, and since apparently, hes a one man shop, he may not return your emails, but I guess that is reasonable.

question??? FEET!!
I previous owned a 4th gen with a BAJA roof rack and after installing it i experienced a leak on the passanger front. I believe it was my fault on having the rack straight..drip..drip..drip.
I now own a 17 Cement Pro and really don't want to drill regardless of all the people saying its easy and not a big deal on drilling...
Can you instead of drilling add feet of some kind jus so it can rest on that molding.. but if y'all think with out a doubt it need to be screwed down please let me know.. i will be installing a RTT on it and i do not need any problems.

I'm sure you could try making some feet to span the distance that the supplied hardware takes care of, and use some double sided tape like the other racks do

Doesn't the front leg on a Gobi just rest on the roof? Also the K9 just kind of floats off the roof, at least from the install pics I saw.

You can install some foot padding to the front, I know some people actually made some mounts for it out of some rubber cabinet foot. To be honest, I was on the fence like you with drilling.. I didn't want to but I went ahead and drill and I must say the extra hole I made came out way better than the stocks

What did you use to cut off the top? I am going to do the same as the additional height of the brackets are preventing me from getting into my garage when the awning is installed.
Pics of what? The awning brackets?
I just cut the top off so I cound run the awning in the lowest position. Totally personal preference.
