For those who debating on ordering, I say order it!. It's so worth the wait... I ordered mine back in Jan and got it at the end of March. There's no wind noise what so ever even with two cases on top, also my gas mpg didn't even drop at all. Do understand that he's a one person running most of this by himself, so I understand the wait time. Unlike Gobi who is a bigger company and has many employees, but know some wait time are 3+months for the Gobi rack. Also, my friend has the gobi rack and encountering some rust spots already. This is just my two cent.
Pic made me so stoked this morning. Love seeing it on another super white!

+1 worth noting that wait times for the Gobi are longer and they are more than a one man show.

Rack installed today. Took roughly four hours - dull drill bit slowed the process. No issues, except the last rail on the 2016. Zach said he'd swap it out for a 1", and much to my expectation, he did not.

Well they might be able to make the rack for less, but don't count on those margin points to be passed on to us...

I am hoping this buyout leads to some good things. I doubt the prices go way up (but I have my rack already so whatever). I HOPE we find some more accessories and for those new buyers or people in need of support, I would expect MUCH better care, in fact CBI mentioned that the service at Prinsu sucked and that they were going to fix it but leave the brand (and pricing) in tact, for now. :reddance:
I would wager that Zach didnt have the right cash on hand to run the business well and keep inventory where it should have been for replacement parts and whatnot, CBIs wallet can fix a lot of that, plus they dont want to tank their good reputation.

My emails were always responded to with in 2-3 days. Even after ordered. Wonder what the difference was. Check prinsu' instagram for all the Q's and A's.

He never responded to any of my emails for updates, and took an extra month to ship. Only email I ever got from him, was my tracking number.
Not complaining about his product, but his communication pretty much didn't exist. It is what it is.
Not everyone is cut out to be a business owner. Hopefully, the new owners can do a better job with communication, and lead times.

Yes I have mounted a full rack without drilling because the original package did not include the plusnuts. I worked however, I believe I have scratched the paint under the front wind deflector. So it is not my suggestion unless you are going to pickup the wind deflector a half inch or so.

I'm thinking it should be easy to replicate those stand offs they include.
Except thread them in the middle. screw into them from top and have some nice 3m vhb tape on the bottom making contact with the roof. Thats probably how i'm doing mine as i don't want to drill.
Keep us updated, wonder if the experience/speed will improve under cbi. Looking to order soon myself

they replied quick when i asked to add the noise reducing trim to order. So fingers crossed hah.
