Any reviews of the new Bilstein 6112's?

Would anyone know which setting would give me the same lift as the daystar 2.5 front spacer?

I hear actual lift differs from thier install imstuctions.

Im currently running 1.5 wheelers offroad rear spring (formerly sway a way) with the daystar 2.5 front and like the slight rake so i want to keep it the same.

Does anyone know the valving info for the Bilstein 5160 rear shocks? According to their online catalog, these shocks have approx 8.66" of travel. I have a set of 8" Bilstein 7100 with remote resi that I can tune to the correct valving if I know what they should be.

you guys notice a slight amount of reverse rake with the Bilstein 6112 at top notch? i have Toytec Superflex and Bilstein 5100 rear shocks.. i might have to take it down a notch...

nice! what level did you have them set it at? and what are you running in the rears

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago. The front set at the fourth notch.(1st notch being the lowest) the rear sets are 5160 with wheelers off-road 1.5inch rear Spring. I'll try and upload a pic. Didn't measure anything but I'm happy with the looks and ride. 115k miles on the old xreas for comparison.

I'm not a suspension expert but I feel that it does A better job when I hit big bumps. It also tows better than before. The factory rear springs sag more with the same load and didn't tow as well. By that I mean It feels like it took the shocks longer to settle out after hitting bumps when towing a load.

I haven't taken corners aggressively but it does feel like it leans more than the old xreas system I took out.

It's Hard to quantify how much better because everyone is different and prefers different handling characteristics.

if you have worn out factory stuff you can't go wrong with the upgrade. Mine factory xreas had 115k miles when I swapped them out.

I just ordered a set of 6112's and 5100's. I'm debating which setting to assemble the springs at. Do you think the 3" total lift you saw was because of the sagging originals? I'm looking for 2" over original stock height max and think that the third from the top would be the best. Does anybody else have any experience?

Sounds to me like he was sagged out pretty good. Pre-assemble at 3Rd level. If you don't like it, change it. It's all fun anyway right?

What year and engine? I'm getting mine done tomorrow and also have superflexes. I have an '05 v6, and was thinking on going top notch, maybe not now.

2006 its got the V8, maybe because im 2WD thats why its higher... 4WD will be a little lower.

Ordered 2.5" in the front, but it really turned out to be closer to 3" I think. I went +2" Radflo springs in the rear and I'm not quite level - rake a slight bit towards the back, which I'm not happy about but will live with until I re-do the rear end down the road. If it really starts to bother me I may throw some 1/2" spacers in the rear just to change the rake.

Finally installed. Top notch, almost leveled it out perfect, maybe 1/2" rake, w rear 5100's and superflex. Love the ride. I tried to hit every pot hole and bump and rough road in sight today, since I can't get off road until this weekend.

This is such a sick ride. Love the Shadow Mica and the lift with the cargo top. Looks very balanced.

Looks pretty good, pretty much the exact setup I want... I'd want the rear a tad bit lower, but it looks pretty good as is!

i think he meant he ordered it assembled, some places will put it at the setting you want for a price... its cheaper if you don't but, those things are a pain in the ass to assemble yourself
