thats pretty sweet that you got your money back. The fact that you didn't need to send that bag back, in my opinion, means it was a fake.

kinda sucks for you, but, at least you know not to buy the north face from ebay again.

i'd definitely pass on the info to the north face. I'm sure the guy is in china, so they probably can't/won't do anything about it. It's worth spending 5 minutes and emailing the north face about it though.

It was a pain at first, but everything worked out ok. I got a free backpack, although it is fake. I'm planning on using it until it breaks and then I'll get another one.

I'm not gonna by it from The North Face. $115 for a backpack is insane.
