On the other hand, w/out all the extra lighting you have, I don't know if those would work as off road fogs for my purposes. What do you think?

I'm on my second set of similar lights which I have mounted under my rear bumper. The have been dragged over rocks, through mud and countless submersions in water. I cracked the lenses on the first set and about half of the LEDs finally went out. At the price and the abuse they took, I didn't think twice about throwing another set under there.

For $11.99 each & $2.99 expidited shipping I’m def sold. About $200 - $250 cheaper that the above option!
I’ll mount them the ends of the tow hitch bar. Worse case scenari I have to drill a hole but I think there are already holes I can use.
My only question now is... what does wireing these as auillary fogs and installing an off/on switch entaile?
Also, I’m assuming if I get caught running these on the road, even on a back road in bad weather, I’m risking a ticket?

The ones I have now are 40w and they are not something I would on the road full time. The glare to oncoming drivers would be horrible.
To wire them up you'll need a fuse, wire, relay and a switch. Look through the aux lighting threads and you find some awesome executions. If you want to keep it real simple, you can buy a harness on Amazon for under $20. If you plan on doing additional lights or accessories i would look into some of the ways people have done it with fuse blocks.
