Anyone try Lucas Mining and Construction grease?

It is a lithium grease with 5% moly. Was thinking of trying it out in the u-joints & DC as I tow often. High moly content is generally frowned upon in ujoints due to some claims of bearing slippage vs rolling... but most that use it have reported excellent results. At only 5% not worried about it - seems like a nice additive to have. Not sure if this product is new or been around a while. Not much on it.

Anyways, anyone give this grease a go?

Never used it. Probably will work just fine. I have been using Mobil X222 special for a decade with great results and it has a high content of moly.....

The main thing is that it is Lithium-based/compatible, NLGI #2. Other specs are secondary in importance.

Agreed, but the other ingredients are as important as zinc, calcium and so forth in motor oil. The additives package is what makes or breaks a grease or oil. This one looked a little unique.
