The generator is too heavy or it wouldn't be a big deal. Weighs about 120# so that would kill me. I have a buddy that will build a full frame with a deck for my current trailer for about 2k so that is an option as well.

You know, there are some nice trailers even a 4runner can pull. We have a Skyline Koala 20RB. Bed at the front, two bunks at the back, no slide outs (good/bad depending on how you like things), and dry weight of 3000 lbs, 3850 GVWR.
No, it does not have ducted heat/AC, and when a family of 4 is inside it's a little cozy, but the lack of slideouts means there is nothing to maintain or fix on that front.
But yes, a Keystone Cougar 32RBK with 2 slide outs and a 9000 lb GVWR will need a Tundra, a 5.7l with tow package no less. Plus ... Tundra CrewMax's are so niiiiiiice. Unless you have park it in an underground garage. Or make a u-turn in downtown DC.

Brock just has ".........." envy ever since he saw them trailer the SPACESHUTTLE with a Tundra.... He's just a kid that saw the neighbor's toy and he wants one to play with too :bat: :fishing: :zoom:

Brock, I have a feeling you will be pulling the trigger on a Tundra soon. My suggestion is to take pictures of the 4R at every possible angle, then when you take offroad pics of your new tundra, you could photoshop the 4R into the pictures and post them here Let me be the first to say, you would be missed around here you photo who**

The new Tundras are nice. I guess I'll need to cruise to the San Tan area to photobomb the photo whore's BP with mine before its gone.

It doesn't, and the rear bumper is not load bearing. I would have to have a full custom frame built for it to do that, in which case I would have it on the front. Thank you for the idea though!

Looks like plenty of space for four in there, with rations for at least a year after the zombie apocalypse. Too bad you would have to go so slow...

Thanks man. As of now, they are going to have to come at me with more money than they are to make the deal. I know the owner of Avondale Toyota so if he can make it make sense he will.
Side note, he just bought an LFA last week and offered me a ride in it next time he is in town (also owns a dealership in CA) which I happily accepted. Now I gotta figure out how I can get him to let me drive that beast :driving:
If any of you AZ guys want to see one up close, it is at Avondale Toyota in the showroom now I believe. I doubt he has it so you can get in or anything, but it should be there.

Brought home a 2013 Crewmax 5.7L 4x4 with the TRD Off Road package last night for a weekend test run. Negatives are that it is too long for my garage, and hangs out of my driveway a bit. Huge positive is I hooked it up to my trailer last night and it does not even know that it is back there. No trailer brake controller and it stops with ease, much easier to back up with the longer wheelbase, I can see over and around it without an issue. If I do it I will decrease my current payment by about $50, and I can keep my trailer in my garage and no longer pay the $50 storage fee so down $100 monthly.
My impressions are that the interior fit and finish is much better on the 4R. Ride quality is better on the Tundra (until a lift and Duratracs go under it LOL). Acceleration, absolutely no comparison at all. Still have the roll down back window that I have come to love. I honestly do not know how to proceed at this point. I love my 4R, I like the Tundra (its not "me" yet being all stock).
