B&M 70268 or 70264 w/ 80212 ATF gauge, Koyo Radiator and procomp fan

I've got a '99 4 runner that I purchased a couple of months ago with 119,000 miles. The car is a bit of a daily driver but is being worked up to be an off-road vehicle and possibly used for some towing as well. I'm going to bypass my stock ATF cooler with a B&M one, but I want to monitor my ATF temp. I want a gauge that is reliable and bullet proof. Is the 80212 gauge what people are using? Also are the benefits of getting a Koyo radiator noticeable over the OEM? I'd still bypass the ATF cooler even after replacing with a Koyo to avoid the most expensive, worst tasting milkshake I've ever had. Also, is adding a procomp electric fan with either the temp probe or manual switch a good idea? I don't mind spending a couple of bucks for a pound of cure to protect my investment, and ensure I'm not stuck in the backwoods. I live on the wet side of WA but would be taking it to the mountains, and to E. WA where it can get to 100 in the dessert like climate.

I just put a B&M 20268 in my 98 with 144,000 on it and im in the sw are of montana where it gets pretty hot in the summer. I dont have a temp gauge but would like to add one, just dont know where to put it, but that gauge looks like it would work. Ive been impressed with the B&M quality. From what I have learned the 20268 is fine for most people. You should be fine with the 20268, esppessially if you decide to add the fan. Personally I dont think the cost of a koyo is worth it, i have the stock rad in mine and have taken it off road a few times and never seen the temp move at all.

I think to decide the size of the cooler your gonna have to figure out how much you would be towing and the size of the tires and everything your going to go with. if your going 35s and towing the max of the vehicle then id say the 20264, otherwise 20268 will be fine. Here is a pic that shows the difference between the two

Hope this helps
