Here you go phillyd2. Please excuse the poor quality, it was starting to get dark and the Flash does not work right, hence holding a little pocket camera while the shutter is going sooooooslow is pretty had.
Building on what Brockeverly said, it took a lot longer that I thought it would just to get the "air dam" off. See all the parts below. There must have been at least 25 hex nuts, etc and some came off, then had to back on etc etc. What a PIA. The jack you see below is a 3ton Motorcycle/ATV jack that I've had for many years. Very handy. Using this, it was a breeze to place the receiver into position.
I would suggest Hand tightening or soft wrench all the 4 front facing frame bolts. This, because as brockeverly said, the holes in the receiver are larger then the bolts used, hence there is a little play. If you tighten any of the bolts to the point you cant move the receiver a little, by the time you get to the last bolt, ooops, have to loosen then adjust.
On that note, the instructions have a couple of mistakes (at least for the 4runner) The Frame bolts are non 10MM, they are 14MM. And even the two large bolts that come with the receiver, they state they are 5/8, which may be true, but the nut is 15/16th. At least that was the only 1/2 socket that would fit it!
Also, I had to take the front skid plate off in order to fit my socket on the 15/16 nut to torque it on. Open end wrench, no problem, but the instructions wanted that nut at 150lbs. All I have is a ratchet torque wrench.
The last photo shows the whole purpose for me going through all this. Just so I can use my winch in front when needed. I need a life......
