Billies and rear spacers
Recently got the rear spacers back in and replaced the rear shocks with 5100s. The stance has leveled out almost perfectly. Hoping the rain will hold off tomorrow so that I can get the BL on and get some bigger shoes put on Monday.

I saw some people had problems installing them and I'm close to needing a new one. How much did it cost and may I get a link to them?

With that Toytec spacer lift, Do there instructions state to leave the Isolator piece between the spacer and coils.
I know when I did a Revtek spacer lift, it stated to remove the isolator!
You might want to research that.

I didn't even think about it. The spacers I'm using were already on the FJ coils I bought used. I thought that the Toytecs were the ones that go on top, so I was going to use both. But the Toytecs were the same as the ones already on the coils. I just looked at the paperwork that came with them and there are no instructions, just warranty info. I'll have to look up the instructions online I suppose. Thanks for the heads up! :yo:

So far, so good. Most everyone I've read about has had good luck with them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed simply because my line of luck tends to be a little shaky!

No problem there Sir. When you have the spacer that goes on top are top hat spacers, they will usually give you double the lift of the thickness of the spacer. Ones that you are using above the springs are preload spacers, not so much of a drastic lift increase for there size.
Just check out what you have and what's supposed to come with it for amount of lift also.
Revtek came with a preload and 3/8" top hat spacers for a full 3" lift.
Edit... Your ride is coming along nicely. Give it time, and you will have it to more of what you want it to be like in the end. Then you'll want more then.

Finished up the body lift yesterday. Not much change, but hopefully enough room for some bigger shoes.....

So the guys at the shop "dropped" one of my center caps and it busted. They've ordered me another one, so I can't really complain. Anyway, here they are, almost as dirty as my truck. I still have some fender work to do, but they aren't scrubbing pulling out of the driveway :wow2: I don't really do any off roading to speak of. Mostly a DD with trips to the coast/beach thrown in here and there. I paid $150 for all four tires, so I couldn't pass them up.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. My 08 UR was my pride and joy. I mean I really loved that thing. It looked badass and had all the cool shit, but life happens. My wife was funny about the "memories" that had been created in that truck before she came along. She said it wouldn't bother her if I kept it, but I could tell that it did. So I did the only thing a good husband should do, I sold it. In some ways, I feel like I'll be chasing that 4Runner down for the rest of my life. But it's a happy life because I have a happy wife!
As for the BHLM, it wasn't hard at all. The #1 rule on that mod is to take your time. Unfortunately, I broke that rule and now I have broken tabs and scuff marks. It's not very noticeable, but I see it. The finish inside looks great. I used black plasti dip on the main area and gunmetal on the signal reflectors. Maybe one day I'll get some new ones, but I'm still on a tight budget for now.
