How did you wire your factory fog switch

I bought a wiring harness just like the ones that come with a lot of these light bars. It came with the relay and everything. I didn't like the switch, so I bought one from mictuning off Amazon. Searched and found some help with the wiring on here and it came out awesome! Here's a couple of links.

The 6th photo down shows the wiring for the switch. The text lights up when you turn on the lights. It all lights up when you hit the switch.

I just cut this switch off and used the other one. The only wire that needs to come through the firewall is the white one. You can tap into the fuse panel for switch power in the cab. I got switch ground off the cigarette lighter and illumination off the seat heater plug. I think it was one of the end wires on the harness.

The relay is prewired so you just need power and ground in the engine bay.

Stage 1 & stage 2.
As you can see in pic #2 & #3, I don't recommend using this type of connection. The first wire is much larger than the second so it's difficult to get a good bite on both wires.

I thought I had some of this, but when I looked in the garage I only found the Dupli-Color. There's no telling how old that stuff is. I'll have to give that Rustoleum a try.

I also bought a grease gun and grease to lube the driveshaft. Made a hell of a mess and crawled under just to find.............no zerks. I'm guessing all the stuff I read about driveshaft issues was only on 4x4s? Oh well. One less problem to worry about

I appreciate that but mine really isn't anything special. I think you have my convinced on the BL and 35's

This is my 2nd 4th gen with the 35s. I don't think I'd be satisfied with anything else after the first one.

Six day work weeks haven't been kind to the Runner. Did manage to swap out the fogs from 6000k to 3000k. They don't really look all that yellow from the front, but the output is very noticeably yellow. Although, it's hard to get good pics in the dark.... hoto:
