Since someone else revived this old thread I'll add my experience. I just bought my 05 SR5 about 2 months ago and when I got it it had a really strong funk inside it. The day I brought it home I decided to take a look at the cabin filter and it was every bit as bad as any shown on this thread. I got the filter that's infused with Arm and Hammer baking soda and in about a week the smell was completely gone. Oddly this wasn't the biggest surprise I found on mine. While I had the driver's seat out recovering it I decided to vacuum under where the seat goes and found the rattles off a rattle snake. My first thought was there was a snake in there at some point but I now believe someone must have killed the snake and cut off the rattles and they ended up falling under the seat. At least I hope that's what happened.
