I research this and couldnt find anything. I looked and listen and didnt see anything torn or leaking. Couldnt localized the sound but it is quick tapping noise. More like plastic than a metallic noise. I back off a bit and it is gone.
Happen when I max full left or right while steering; dont matter if I am moving or stopped. I am not too concern about it right now since my cv axles still look clean and steering rack was replaced about 30k mi ago with oem toyota parts. It is just bugging the s*** out of me. Same as my humming above 20mph. I suspecting my cooper atp though.
