Any plans to upgrade to mid or long travel in the future?
Just got my issue today, congrats on making the spread. Maybe hopefully if I see you on a socal run Ill have you sign it. LOL!
Thats right you were there too! Its been solid so far. Used it a few times. My truck has gone through a bit of a change since the last time you may have seen it since it was all stock.
Sweet! Thanks!!I got my issue of 4WDTO last weekend at the local Barnes and Noble. Good read.
Hey so what is the gas mileage that you get with your 4runner? It still has the 2.7 motor right?
whats your 3rz mpg with the charger. NICE BUILD BTW
Thanks for the reply! I was thinking about getting a 4runner with 4cyl and 4wd to try to save so money at the pump. But also make some mods to get more HP. I was thinking about a charger, but I figure mpg will vary(as you mentioned) and I will have to buy 91 gas. Would be interesting if there was a way that the super charger could be turned off, kinda of like the A/C. You had mentioned in one of your posts that the engine was too stock, are you considering change it? If so which motor or motors? I was curious about your build as I am looking at the 4cyl 4runner as one of my options. Thanks!
before you swapped in the V6 trans, were you happy with the 4.56 gears?
They seem to be the best size for a DD on 33s and I am really considering the swap since the front gears are toast anyway amd need to be replaced.
Hey man hows it going? Congrats on the magazine article that is bad@ss!
Good luck with school. I graduated in 2010 after going the community college to university route. One thing though, if you haven't already checked it out see BLS.gov and look up the degree / career you are considering. They have data on every job type out there.
Hope we get to wheel together again sometime.
