On another note, I managed to fit two cars in the garage, which has never happened since moving here in 1997.

The video is undergoing a few changes, sorry for the delay.
On another note, since it was cheap and gave me something to do, "bling diff breather"
I started by removing the existing differential breather. I bought a few adapters from my local Home Depot. The adapters consist of Watts A-715 and (2) A-734. I also bought a 50' Amflo recoil air hose.
One adapter screws into the differential breather's original hole (A-715). A brass nipple (A-734) was then fitted to that, where the air hose was then fitted. I cut the hose down to 30' and moved the original brass ending to the new end. I screwed that into another A-734 fitting and replaced my differential breather behind the gas door.

For those of you who may remember me talking about trading my 4Runner for a new one and giving this one to my mom --
This whole crash safety thing has me thinking. Her model Previa was tested by the NHTSA as having been the least safe vehicle of its year and class. A late 3rd gen Limited or an early 4th gen fits the budget. As of yesterday, she is driving a pretty nice 4th gen, a Silver 2004 Sport Edition V6.
I will be keeping my 4Runner, hopefully to one day swap in ye olde sunroof, 4WD, and who knows, maybe even a manual transmission.

Today was a big day for the Toyotas in the family. First off, I sold the remains of our 1995 Previa S/C. At the same time, my 4Runner underwent installation of a new windshield. I later installed two Rain-X Latitude 17" wipers, as well as 3/4" D-ring shackles for my front tow hook D-ring mounts.
The windshield was done by Rufino, owner of RJ Auto Glass. Fantastic work. $135
legokcen's shackle mounts in use. Shackle test fitment, unpainted.
I decided I'd prefer them painted and matching the calipers. Some self etching primer, Krylon Banner Red and gloss clear on the shackles, some Krylon Flat black and flat clear on the screw in portion, came out with this:

Wow man I just read through your whole thread and your runner came out awesome! After seeing your build it is defiantly given me inspiration to start building mine. Mine looks pretty much like how yours did when you first got it except mine is 4x4 and a V6. Defiantly keep up the great work and I can't wait to see what you have in store for it in the future! :thumb3:

Not sure if you heard, but it was hit and totaled while parked which forced us to sell. My mom was very unhappy at the time since it was only at 97,115 miles. It could have made that 400k... it was the van I grew up in... supercharged, mid engine, rear wheel drive, most awesome vans in the universe is right hah.
Awesome! I wish mine was a 4x4 and V6 but I had to deal with what I could afford at the time. Good luck man. My intention of the thread was to show that mine isn't stock at all, while it may look so. A transformation is the least I could say about it. I noticed you just recently, so seems you've got a long way to go. Good luck! The mods never end.

Ya I know they need to be treated bad. I plan on getting them painted the same color as the body. I think my next mod will be the 4th gen sport wheels when I find a set and fix my cat and fuel gauge problem.

I have an 04 Sport that I might be swapping wheels on soon, but you're a pretty far journey from here.
